Hi guys! I'm new here. Going to Cedar Point has been my dream ever since I heard about TTD - about 5 years ago. Now, I'm excited to hear that my family saved enough to go! However, we plan to go next year just so we'd have some extra spending money (T-shirt for each of the big 3 maybe? heh)
Anyway, if i continue to ramble, I'll get off topic.
So, we know we'll be visiting CP for 2 days (3 nights in the hotel, we'll be staying at Breakers.)
Now, I have many questions, heh. I've already done a bit of Googling so most are answered.
After doing a bit of math, I found that buying a resort 1-day admission ticket two times will save us almost $21 rather than buying just a 2-Day admission ticket (we do not plan on going in Soak City). So my question is, will the hotel allow us to buy a 1-day admission two times?
(I even made a chart for this! Click here to view it)
Next up, the early admission. Can I get a locker in this time? My plan for attack is to go through the entrance near Magnum XL 200 and get a locker at TTD and then head off to MF.
Ok, last one as of now. Can I enter the Challenge Park after the actual park has closed? For example, the hours yesterday said the park opens at 10 and closes at 10, but the challenge park closes at 11. Can I enter the Chalenge Park after 10?I really want to go on Skyscraper, and I think it would be better to go on after the park closes so we don't waste any time.
So far, that's all I can think of as of now (a lot of my questions were answered when we decided we'd go for 2 days rather than squeeze in the 40 rides I want to go on, I also think this will allow for re-ride time!)
I didn't even realize I typed that much... Sorry for the long read :p
Not sure about if they'll let you purchase a 1 day ticket twice - They don't have any sort of discounts on 2 day tickets?
You can get a locker at any time, they just take a dollar coin.
Challenge Park is open, no gates around it. You can go up to the attractions as long as they are open.
When are you thinking of going? Earlier in the year in May or early June before school lets out would be optimal, and you could probably squeeze in everything you want to ride multiple times.

I think my first question was answered when I just did a sample of booking a hotel, the tickets are part of a package in the room I think?
I read the lockers are one-time use only. Should I get a locker at the front gate instead? I know I'm going to use it more than one time.
Thanks for the info about the Challenge park.
I'm going during the summer after school is out, it all depends when Mom's work decides to give her a vacation week :x
Since you are staying at Breakers it may be easier for you to leave your stuff at your room instead of getting a locker - at least first thing in the morning. Mid Summer you'll probably want a mid day break from the heat and crowds anyways. Depending on where you are in the park when you decide you want your stuff you may be closer to your hotel room then the lockers. Plus hiking all the way to the front of the park to get a locker (or even just over to dragster) would, in my opinion, be a big waste of early entry time when the park will be the least crowded.

I was going to say the same thing- an all day locker at the front gate would likely be more of a hassle than going back to your room at Breakers. The one time use lockers are conveniently placed though. If you have items you don't mind leaving in a bin on the ride platform, you can do that instead of getting a locker on most of the rides (Dragster and Millennium are the two exceptions I can think of right now).
Skyscraper is a lot of fun, definitely worth checking out one night while you're there. Ripcord is awesome too, although a bit less unique since you can find Skycoasters just about everywhere.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
Wow, all my questions have been answered! Thanks, you guys! You're very helpful!
One more, though.
Where is the Pagoda Cam located in the park? We want to wave to our friends back home.
Thanks again everyone!

It's on the Pagoda Gift Shop near the Skyride West Station across from the Cadillac Cars.
Oh. That makes sense since it's called the Pagoda cam :p
Thanks so much!
Ok, one last question.
We plan to go to the beach on our first day there (we will be arriving at CP hopefully around 4 on this day, since that's check-in time) since we won't have much time to do any rides.
Can I access the beach from the hotel (Hotel Breakers)? I read there are entrances from the park, but I've never read anything about entering the beach from Hotel Breakers.
Thanks!
