Personally, I'm just hoping they have a little stall where you can go and see Lucy and get some psychiatric help for 5 cents. :)*** Edited 11/30/2007 2:05:03 AM UTC by DBCP***

The picture's description says, "The area under the Aquatic Stadium has been boarded up. The pool is empty, and there appear to be reinforcements on the glass under the tank. There is currently additional storage in the boarded area."
However, I do stand corrected, CPboy77. I thought I remember actual plywood earlier in the year. I do remember looking behind the covering and seeng bolts drilled right through the glass.
The point is this thing needs to be removed, like now. I hope Cedar Fair won't be cheap in removing this like Geauga Lakes old water park....
^How will they be cheap? If they do take it out; its out. I just think people like bashing CF on here for the whole GL thing even if it has nothing to do with it.
Let's Get Weird.
I believe he meant he hopes they won't be cheap by leaving it sit there unused and rotting for several seasons. He hopes they'll pony up the money and remove it if it's not going to open again.
He related that to the old water park at Geauga Lake that sat closed for years with green slime floating in the pools.

That already exists, and has for years, back in Camp Snoopy Theatre.
Of course, Lucy will just take your nickel and run, but... that's how she rolls. ;)

Do we know that the stadium won't be used for 08'? It could of just been 2007 that they weren't going to have the divers.
Good point, but why would they just decide to close it one year?
I think they were gearing up for future expansion.

Not to bash concerts or anything, but what is it with you and summer concerts at CP? A concert at an amusement park can get ugly. That's all i'm going to say. Based on what I heard, KI used to host this teen dance thing in the action zone. People have told me that it became ugly. And it didn't last long in the season. CP has that Halloween concert with the midway monsters under the big screen, but that's family oriented and children can dance in it.They should make the stadium a new updated show, or tear the whole thing down for other use.
The Action Zone thing was 18 and over and it was stopped after a fight in the parking lot where shots was fired. It didnt last a month. Just a bunch of jokers acting like kids. The concerts have different types of crowds. If you keep the music clean and family friendly the crowds wont be ugly. Kings Island still has Sprit Song and other shows though the year. To put it truefully Cedar Point has no room for a concert place. Kings Island makes alot of money when they do concerts due to the high number of people that see the shows. Sprit Song has the most people in the 3 or 4 days they have it.

Cedar Point needs something for the adults when the park is closed. It's a resort with nothing to do when the park is closed which most of the time is 10. I can imagine a House of Blues at the point, maybe even where the Aquatic Stadium is.
I think a concert venue like a House of Blue would be great for the point.
