Plan of attack

I have not been to CP since 2002. I will be getting to CP on Sunday July 5 in the early afternoon (1-3) and spending the entire next day in the park as well. I like to hit every coaster once and then go back to the ones I like until I drop. Any ideas on how to go about the park?

Also, I am not a big fan of shuttle coasters so is Wicked Twister worth riding?

I would say, start your day in the back of the park. The majority of the other guests will probably be coming from the front. So the back of the park will not be as crowded.

Do not ride Raptor until later in the evening. If you hit it in the afternoon, you will be looking at an hour to 2 hour wait. If you ride it in the evening, the line will be much shorter.

Take advantage of the Sky Ride and train. They get you to places quicker, and it will give you a chance to take a quick break without wasting anytime.

I havn't ridden Maverick yet, but everytime I want to there is about an hour to 2 hour wait. I would suggest to jump in line right before 10pm the first night. That way you can ride it, without wasting time being in line, because the park will be closed anyway. Then you will know if it is worth waiting in line for the next day.

As for Wicked Twister, I have only ridden it once, because I do not care for it too much. I know a lot of people that like it though. The wait is never that long, so I guess you will have to try it and see for yourself.

Have fun! :)
