Hey, good call DBCP! I hadn't noticed those supports nearby the pond. I was going more off of the drawings and the dual set of footers on the one side of the pond. I really hope the track is low-lying and banked, as that would be quite the cool thrill to whiz by the water at an angle.
As for the lift then launch idea, certainly it's possible with LIMs, so I don't think that's a barrier. As for the cost, if CP wants to do something like that, I think they will, cost not being a factor. The fact that there are no lift hill supports yet means nothing to me, as there is still plenty of time for them to arrive and then be put up. That may not even happen until the offseason. I'm not saying that it's definitely going to be a lift + luanch, but it's certainly a possibility at this point, and the layout would seem to be conducive to it as well. That being the case, I don't see any storm clouds on my horizon yet! ;)
Take care and God bless!
For (hopefully) the last time, where on the layout do you see an indication that there will be a lift hill AND a launch?
And, yes, CP does have enough money to do both, but that doesn't make it a worthwhile investment to do so. For example, they also have enough money to create a whole new midway made entirely of chocolate.

Not so much a lift and 2 launches, as 2 launches. One slowly up a hill and the other one to about 70 MPH mid-ride. VERY similar is fashion to California Screamin', only the lift launch comes first.
I sincerely believe that the 2nd launch will be directly under the first lift/launch, in a tunnel, after a set of trim brakes.
IMO... I love the good old lift hills, especially MF's because its so smooth and quiet. Its like the calm before the storm... I also like the intensity of a launch. So those two elements, again IMO, whould totally make this new coaster one of a kind, and totally mindblowing

As soon as Walt posts some new aerial photos, I can do a simulation ride with my coaster simulation game and post the video on here. Though Im not trying to hurry you here Walt, take your time.:)Are you still going to do that?
Im going to TRY.
Give me some time to figure out existing layout, and how to fill it in with non supported footers. I would also love help on what the long row of footers and supports could be. Like what the tall supports will form, what the gradual incline of supports might be, and what might go in this area(http://www.pointbuzz.com/Gallery.aspx?i=4725 specifically the pond and the turn into the tall rows of supports).

It's funny, but not like funny "ha ha". It's worth a chuckle, but certainly not something I would laugh my ass off over. Keep that, you might need it someday.

You just keep messing with me, huh? You must like me to keep picking with me like that.
It was a good laugh to me. I had a long day at work!

^ I'm just saying you shouldn't laugh your ass off too much, you might need it someday.
Then again, maybe I could create a workout plan based around the very idea of laughing one's ass off. I bet that would make a ton of money.
