*Sorry for the delay in posting this, but when I first tried to post this the day I got back, it was all coming up blank...but now all is fine, so here we go:
All these photos are from June 17th and 18th, 2007. The first album has 60+ pictures and the second has a little over 30, with a few "artistic" pics at the end. Some aren't that great as they were blurred unintentionally, but I thought they looked kind of neat anyway. Enjoy!

*Notes:
I got to ride Maverick 3 times in two days, all under a 45 minute wait (once with it breaking down THREE times). Having rode all the coasters in the park previously and on this trip, now including Maverick, I have to say it's my new favorite...HOWEVER, the tunnel confuses the heck out of me- what's going on in there? It just seems like a lot of random lighting effects along with the camera flashes....
The park was VERY busy on Monday, but it was still bearable and enjoyable. Park employees were very friendly, we took time to chat with some and ask them how their day was going, they really perk up when people talk with them, more people should do so!
One final thought and I just wanted your guys opinion on this, being the experts that you are. I found it kind of annoying how when Maverick breaks down, how the external ride line forms.
Starting from the gate, there were people in a line going back towards the new wooden bench things they built around trees and flowers and the Maverick sign, no problem there, that's fine, right?...But then there was this gap between this group of people sitting around the Maverick sign who would yell at people who tried to get in line where the gap was, saying they were the next ones in line...well I think if you're going to wait for the ride and it's that important to you, you should be standing up just like everyone else and claim your spot in the line. Even the people before the gap snapped at us when we got behind them. What's up with that? You know what I mean?
First of all, people walking up to the line would have no clue they were in line if they are sitting anyway, second of all, it's not cool to freak out on people. It's not a big deal, we walked away and came back later and got on...but I don't know, that kind of irked me. Lazy kids! Other than that and that having NOTHING to do with how the park is run, we had an amazing time and I can't wait to go back in a couple months!
*I also forgot to mention that I have high resolution copies of all of these pics (3072 x 2304), just in case anyone is interested.
