Phone Interview

Hello all, I'm new here (long time lurker) but I'll probably be around more often in the future.

I have a question and was wondering if anybody could answer: I live in an apartment right now for college but I put my primary number down as my home phone number and my secondary number down as my cell as I don't have a phone in my apartment. I was hoping I'd be able to catch them for the interview at home because we all know how dependable cell phones are! The past two days my dad says a lady has been calling the house asking for me by my full name and hanging up when he tells her I'm not there; I haven't received a call from her on my cell either. It might not even be Cedar Point, given I'm not sure why they'd be calling me already (it's my first year sending in an application). I might be overreacting, but I was wondering if in the past anybody has had Cedar Point actually call the secondary number? Do they usually leave messages when you're not there? Would they call a first year applicant this early? I just want to see if anybody can answer some of these questions before I call in and potentially make a fool out of myself. Any info would help, thanks!

i had the same problem last year! when they called and i wasn't there they did leave messages, enough so i knew who was calling. i think the best idea would be (if you feel like you missed the call), just go ahead and call a little into jan.

what dept did you apply for?

call the first of the year-use 1-800-668-jobs be transferred to park op and ur set. you have to talk to marsha, karrah and knauf and they are nice people. the interview won't last that long- and if they come to your school go see them. even if you got hired-and if you get early april be prepared for the cold-
I just have a question: If you're a potential new employee to CP, will you have to call the 1-800 number to set up for the interview?
you don't have to call- but it is a good thing to- esp. if you can't do an face to face interview. and with where you get placed it is all about where they need people- they always need people in the children areas- people either end up quitting or getting moved-and another side note working at a coaster is a bit over rated-then i have always worked where i wanted-
