Pet Chek...

Does anyone know or have better information about the kennel onsite than what is posted on the website? Like, what is a kennel/run like....is it only indoors or can the pet go outside if they are in a kennel/run? Also, does the dog have to be a certain size/weight in order to be in a kennel/run as opposed to a cage? Has anyone ever used the onsite pet facility?

Thank you kindly! :-)

We have used the pet check twice this year. It is adequate for what you need is for but its definitely nothing special. It is all inside (air conditioned), there are 6 cages with concrete floors for large dogs. They are probably 3x8 in size. Then there are small stacked cages for smaller dogs through out the room. There are probably about 20 of those. Sorry I didn't pay too much attention to those we have a chocolate lab who went in the large cages. The only time the dogs leave the cages or go outside is when you come to take them out. You can do that as many times as you want, which worked well for us cause we usually pack a cooler for lunch. We went and got our dog and he had lunch with us at the car. Then we took him back when we went back into the park. They put water and hard food down for them if you would like. We bring some old blankets for him to lay on. The biggest advice I can give is get there early!!! Especially if you have a big dog (only 6 spots)!!! It opens one hour before the park. The first time we used it we got there right at 9 and we were the third person in line. It was a Saturday though, so I don't know what's its like the rest of the week. We've tryed to get there right when it opens cause we come from 2 hours away and it would suck to get there and find out there is nowhere for our dog and then have to turn around and go home.

Thank you.....that helps a great deal!! :-)
