Pet Check?

Has anyone ever used the pet check? Would it be a good place for a 100 lbs. chocolate lab to spend a few hours while we are hitting some coasters in the park?

My former girlfriend left her Boston there frequently. It seemed adequate to me, even for a larger dog. A few hours in particular I would think would be a non-issue. Only you know your dog.
