I am a ride host and i know how bad the heat can get outdoors..i was just wondering if we could bring like a pocket portable fan to try and keep cool while we are working.
It can get very hot. And depending on what ride you're on some places have areas that can cause it to be a little hotter. Just make sure you bring more water then you think you'll need on those days and drink it even if you're not thirsty. The best way to stay cool is to keep hydrated.
11 years.
Now I don't work there, but when I'm there on a hot day I'll just poor some water on my hands and rub it on my face and neck. That seems to help a lot.
The occasional splash of water to the face helps tremendously when you're out in the heat, and it's quite refreshing. Just make sure you have a good sized water bottle and keep it filled and drink a lot of it. I never drank as much water as I drank the summer I worked there.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

If you are staying in Cedars, or Golds, I reccomend bringing a Window Air Conditioning Unit. I just bought mine from Sears last week.
