Paychecks

Where do you pick up paychecks? And can you cash them right there?

I picked up my check in my dept. I would assume that you would pick yours up where ever the merchandise dept. is at. You can cash your checks on payday (Thursdays) at Cedars. :)

park op life guards and park services- at park services thats all i know

I was told my first year that I picked up my paycheck at my department office. Well, I'm a ride host and that's Park Operations, but we don't get our paycheck from the Park Ops office. I go to Park Services.

So I guess "Your department office" is true unless you work in Park Ops, then its Park Services. To those who haven't processed in yet and don't know where Park Services is, its behind the Silver Dollar Cafe/Quarterdeck Arcade which is in front of Blue Streak.

Hmm... I thought park services and Park Op were same thing... where's the illusive park services?

Ben, to simplify what DK wiza said, if you're in say merchandise, you'd pick it up at the merchandise office, and if you're in games you'd pick the paycheck up at the games office. Now every park operations division (i'm pretty sure thats right) member (I'm guessing this is park services, rides, guest services, and traffic if its like at KBF) picks it up at the park services office. Why? Probably (I'm guessing) that its the largest park ops non-admin building. At knotts there is no non-admin rides building. Now at knotts we march our way into administration to pick up our checks.

ahh Thx Drew... guess it helps when I don't read this thing sideways ;) I'll have to ask my TL if that, indeed, is where we pick ours up or if they are different and have us fish them from the lake or something.

Thx for the explaination too, speedy, although I was asking more of a direction as in 'guide me to the office' less so as to 'why the heck would it be there' sort of thing, but thx anyways :-D
