pay process?

i got hired an i was wondering how do they pay you? is it direct deposite an if it what bank would be the best one to open a bank account ?

You get paid every two weeks, and yes you can have your check direct deposited. You just need to sign up for direct deposit at HR. If you're looking for a local bank to have your check direct deposited, I do my banking at Citizen's Bank. They have a branch in downtown Sandusky, on Water St. There are other banks too, on Cleveland Rd there's US Bank. Downtown there are several other banks, PNC Bank, Key Bank, First Federal Savings. By the mall there's a 5th 3rd Bank, and a PNC Bank. I guess you can decide which bank is best for you.

I ended up just direct depositing my paychecks with my normal bank, Wells Fargo last year even though they don't have any locations around Sandusky. I pretty much paid for everything with my credit card but when I needed cash I just cashed a check at human resources, which is fast and free.

You can direct deposit to any bank or credit union. The awesome thing about credit unions is that many of them are in a nationwide alliance, allowing you to do all your banking/ATM transactions from any credit union in the alliance for free. That leaves you with quite a few local banking choices in Sandusky (or pretty much anywhere else).

ok an you have to be 18 to open an account right? cuz im only 17 now but i turn 18 in april

well you can open a temporary shared account with your parent i did that then when i turned 18 i changed it. but to change it you need there authorization. you can set up different thing for the bank like u and ur mom can both cash your checks or just u or u can only withdraw money or both and etc.

I've never heard of any rules like that. I opened a checking account on my own when I was 16, and I don't believe I needed any parental authorization. Maybe different banks do it differently?

PS- I forgot to include it in my earlier post, but here's a link to locate nearby credit unions. If you search Sandusky, you'll see there are 5 locations you can use. Just search for your home town and find one to set up an account with.
