pay period

I was just wondering how long after starting work ( for myself it is April 29) does it take to process payroll and recieve a first paycheck? Do all departments get paid on the same pay schedule? Thanks in advance.

Im pretty sure everyone gets paid on the same pay schedule. (At least seasonal) They tell you to take enough money to last you 21 days. But you could get luck and get paid the same week you start. Last season I had my first paycheck with 5 hours.

Speaking of pay period, if anyone reading is currently there, I wouldn't mind knowing where we are in the pay period now, so I can determine where I fall in.

we got paid on friday the 16th

so does that mean if i start the 10th of may ill get paid on the 14th??

No, you are in the same boat as me. I process in on the 9th. If you work any hours on the 9th,(Training pay doesn't get added until a later check) then you will get paid on the 14th. Otherwise you have to wait until the 28th for your first check. Pay is from Monday-Sunday Bi-Weekly
