Pay once visit twice?

Has anybody taken advantage of the pay once visit twice deal Cedar Point is running?

"Visit Cedar Point (does not include Soak City) any two days of the 2010 operating season. Ticket must be used by the same person for both visits. The two visits do not have to be on consecutive days."

I know you buy the tickets online and print them yourself and they print your name on the ticket but I am just wondering if they actually ask for ID when you show up at the park. If you buy a ticket for a kid how do they prove who they are?

I had a friend who used a pay once visit twice ticket earlier in the season. They didn't have him do anything no ID no nothing, just scanned it and let him go in. I don't know about him coming back with the ticket, but he said he usually uses the first one then his dad comes later in the season and uses the second. You should be okay espcially if its being used for kids, but I really don't know.

Well I just bought the tickets online and printed them. I am a little aggravated with one thing. Even though the tickets were bought online and printed by me they add on a $3 fee to the order. I can understand fees when there is shipping and handling involved but this is really ridiculous. I also dont love the fact that you use the same sheet of paper for both visits and if you lose it you are out of luck. It should be a different sheet for each visit so you can leave one at home.

The ticket says you have to sign the sheet at the gate both times you visit. I will let you know if they actually make you sign. We are headed to the park tomorrow. Hope it doesnt rain!

We went 2 days ago and used the pay once visit twice sheets I printed out. They didnt ask us for ID or have us sign the sheets. All they did was scan the bar code and said have a nice day. Now I just have to make sure I dont lose them before we go back in a month or so

My dad used it this year and all he did was give them the ticket and when they scanned it the second day the computer showed it had been scanned once already.

I did it yesterday and the day before. You just print out the e-tickets, or pick them up at the park. Eathier way you do not need an id, or anything else but the tickets.

It's really easy, and I think it's a great deal too. I made the mistake of not buying a season pass this year. I really should have, because I would have saved a few hundred already.

"You wanna, you gotta, you hafta hold on, Cedar Point...HOLD ON!"

I bought the "pay once, ride twice" $64 ticket for my Sept 2-3 visit. I also made the mistake of leaving it in my pocket when I rode Shoot the Rapids on Day 1. Fortunately, the ticket # was still readable, but the gate attendant had to type in the # rather than scan the bar code. She didn't ask for ID or for me to sign it (I guess when the ticket is dated Sept 2, and you're returning on Sept 3, they'll assume you're the same person).

Thats why I printed 2 copies and left one at home. Just in case I managed to ruin one. I guess if they ever do make us sign them 2 copies wont be an option. I am glad they didnt give you any problems

You wouldn't be able to go home and sign your second copy?
