From my understanding one of the many reasons AR was coverted to DT was that they had a problem with the troughs filling up with sand, that was blown over from the beach.

I don't we ever got a solid reason why DT fell into the funk that it has. I know that we have beaten this topic to death before but who knows.

Getting back to the thread at hand, a past idea that never came through was the origonal placement for Rip Cord, I think it would have been awesome over by the beach.

She meant Bearnstein Bear Country I'm sure...and it was 99 for Camp Snoopy not 2000...

LOL, clueless kate might be a little clueless. But I think clueless kate is talking about snoopy playground and how it used to be the berenstain bears. I too liked that place when I was little but when I was 6 years old COASTERS came into my life.

Like I said...that area was called Bearnstein bear country...:)...Now known as Snoopy's domain :)
