Anyone out there worked at the Point in the summers of 93, 94, 95 and 96?
I worked in Food Ops, started out as a busboy in what was then the Boathouse and ened my last summer as an Area for the Boathouse and all of the locations in the Hotel Breakers. My old roommate was responsible for the "Skippys Pizza" at Dominics. I met my wife at the Boathouse so needless to say Cedar Point holds many happy memories in my family.
Glad to see that they tore down Cedars... it was a dump back then I'd hate to see what it would be like now.
My wife and I want to visit again but being in Atlanta makes that a little difficult.

Hey good to see someone on here from WAY BACK! I also worked in 1994 in Park ops- on the Mine Ride. No sorry to report, Cedars is still there. The only thing that isn't is the old employee rec room/that had the pizza place in it- (forgive me, I don't remember it's name)- which was located on the other side of Breakers. It's gone, and was demolished when they remodeled the newer wing of the hotel.
Still trying to get a Alumni reunion going from anyone that worked those years.

I worked in Games in '94, then transferred to Breakers front desk in March '95 and by mid summer was a Housing Sup for Cedars where I remained in '96. By mid' 96 through all of '97 I was "Papa Bear" at Bear Country for Live Shows.
I tried to manage a reunion at Kelleys Island back in '03. We had about a good 20 people show up. I'd love to see any and all Housing and Live Shows people who may remember me.
I started on the Switchboard in '94, then worked in Merchandise '95-'98. It seems like yesterday!! I'm still in touch with a handful of friends from over the years, but there are times when I sure do miss the good old days!!!
Haven't been back to visit in a few years but hope to go this year with my husband...he hasn't been in well over a decade and I can't wait to see the look on his face when he sees how much it's changed and grown!
