Parking in the Breakers lot? Curious....

So I just thought of this and was curious....

Not that it saves you much walking time or anything, but can you park in the Breakers lot (Between Breakers and Magnum) if you aren't a guest of the hotel? I always park in the Soak City lot when I come to the park and was curious if I could do this as well. Would be closer to the Fridays and Perkins should I decide to go there first or last.

You can't because there is a security guard standing at the parking spots for the Breakers.

Yep that security is there to turn around anyone that is not stay at Hotel Breaks. So non hotel guest's don't take spots away from hotel guest's.

I was wondering about this also, not for a general day at the park, but if we will be staying at Breakers that evening, but get there before check in time, if we could still park in the lot? I remember we did this a few years ago, but don't know if that was an isolated incident.

Just tell the guard at the booth that you're early for your reservation.

You can check in early and they will give you a dated parking permit to place on your dash and a resort pass to allow you to get early entry. You can also ask if your room is ready, sometimes it is even at 8:30 am. If it is you can get your key and move in, otherwise you have to come back later for your key. You can still park early as long as you put that permit in your car.
