Coming to CP soon and staying at Breakers Express. Does anyone know if I can use the resort parking since I'm staying at a CP property for the ERT in the mornings?
I also vaguely remember seeing something on here (although I can't find it now) that parking and entering through the side gates will get you in faster and you will be closer to the big coasters. Any truth to that?
I haven't been to CP in almost 10 years so I don't remember the roads very well or even seeing anything about side entrances.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.

You can park in either the Main Lot, or the Soak City/Gemini Lot. To get to the latter two, you will have to drive around Peremiter Road. To get there, basically head to the left when you get into the parking lot, and then follow the road all the way around the park. You will not be able to park in the Breakers Lot.
As far as gates go, you can enter in the Main Gate, Marina Gate, Resort (Magnum) Gate, or Beach (Wicked Twister) Gate. For the first two, park in the main lot, for the second two, park in one of the back lots. Which gate you go in really depends on what coaster you want to hit first.
Have fun!

Josh,
Your side lot advice worked out great, we were able to sneak in and out of the park whenever we wanted.
Thank you!

I tried to park in the marina lot and got turned away both times. The guard said something about how it was only for people using the marina and not resort guests.

^^And see, every time I've done so, I just blow past the guard...he's usually some old guy anyway!
But the times that I did were for sort of unique reasons, and I'm not a fan of entering in the gate anyway, and thought the parking spot options sucked to boot (too many spaces had names on them?!, and I like to park away from other cars if possible).
However, the marina lot was where I parked for the VIP tour in 07.
So... you ignore the guards and their rules, and you like to hide the fact that you try to keep lap bars up on coasters.
You sir, are a class act.
