Parking?

Hey guys!
This summer will be my first at Cedar Point. I was wondering if any of you have had your car up here before or not. It would be alot easier for me to bring it with me than for me to be dropped off since I live so far away. Someone told me that we are allowed to park for free? Any info on whether parking was a hassle or having a car was a great convenience would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mackenzie

If you have a car, bring it. The bus is really annoying to have to deal with. There's a parking lot right across the street from where you will live. And then we get free parking at the park even when you're off of work. Having a car will make your life so much easier. Trust me.

awesome, I'm so glad to hear that! I didn't know if the parking would be so out of the way that it wouldn't be worth it, like at my college.
thanks!

Employee parking at the park is actually closer than guest parking, except for when there is the occasional parking ban.

Aside from those occasional parking bans, having a car is definitely the way to go. Not only is it easier (and more reliable) than the bus for getting to work, you can easily get around town for shopping or entertainment.

This will be my first year as well. What is this about parking bans? :3

A few times a year (around 4th of July and Halloweekend Saturdays) employees cannot drive to work. They need to take the bus, so that there is more guest parking.
