Does anyone know if the park op radio channel can be heard by any two way radio?

If I remember correcty, it's 464.375, but looking at radioreference it could be 464.575. I've got it in my handheld, but will have to check later as I don't have it with me.
And its not just on any two way radio you need a scanner. Scanohio.com has the frequencys.

No, they're all broadcast in the clear. Cedar Point communicates on a number of frequencies. Most can't be picked up more than a mile or so from the park. The frequency used by the Cedar Point Police is the exception.
The big three are:
Cedar Point Police (461.3000)
Maintenance (463.8625)
Park Operations (464.5750)
It's a hobby. There are a lot of scanner enthusiasts out there who enjoy scanning - listening to police, fire, NASCAR, businesses, Skywarn, etc. It's natural that Cedar Point enthusiasts who are also scanner enthusiasts would enjoy listening.

Proud to be. We like to be called nerds though.
I have a portable scanner from Radio Shack. I took it to the park one day and auto searched for channels. If I remember correctly we were able to listen to 12 (or so) channels. They have a channel for each department. It was fun to listen to the "Behind-the-scenes" stuff about the park.
Peace, Mikey
^ That is why I would listen. It would be fun to hear the "Behind-the-scenes" stuff.

Why would they be secured/encrypted? Not like it's top secret stuff.
It costs quite a bit to get a secure channel. You have to pay annually as well.
In college we used to listen to cordless phones back when they used the lower frequencies and weren't digital. It's legal, by the way, but you're not supposed to divulge what you hear. The frat houses were the best.
You can listen to those SkyWarn goofs drive around and exaggerate weather conditions too. That's a good time.

Yeah, I've heard some good stories of the cordless phones. Some of my HAM radio friends had a grand ol time with that, and I guess even stopped a drug deal. Ha
The other fun thing to do is to go to some stores that use the VHF MURS frequencies and talk on their frequencies. They are open licensed, and it really annoys them all.
I used to be able to pick up the McDonald's drive-thru on my scanner. Yeah, it was really entertaining for, oh, about 30 seconds. :)
Listening to the scanner is a must at NASCAR races. Except for the time I ended up on the less than important channel and got all the details of the restrooms over flowing outside turn #2.
And yes, nerds rule!
