Park Map and which entrance

I am looking for a good park map, and cant seem to find one...the one on the site is cartoonish...is there a better one somewhere?
Also, staying at the breakers,first timer to CP, is that entrance the early entry entrance near Maverick or is that somewhere else?

the one on the site is the actual park map they give you when you go to Cedar Point. The only thing I would suggest doing if you are looking for a better view of the park would be use Bing Maps and search Cedar Point.

The resort entrance is near Soak City water park. There is no entrance near Maverick.

The resort entrance is the closest one to Maverick, but it's still a bit of a walk to get from the gate to the ride. The beach entrance is also easily accessible from Hotel Breakers, but that comes into the park next to Windseeker/Wicked Twister.

So for this first timer, what do I do that first day, how do I get to the resort entrance from Breakers, and do I have to drive there or can I walk it?
Once in that entrance where do I go to get to Millenuim, Dragster and Maverick First?
Sorry to be so uninformed.

If looking at the park (west), you'll turn right and a sidewalk will take you right to the resort gate area.

If you want to hit Maverick first, head to your right at TTD's tower, cross the train tracks, and hook another right at the basketball court. You can't miss it.

For TTD, hook a left, pass the bathrooms and take a right and the sign and entrance to the queue will be right in front of you.

For MF, you have two routes. If you head to Maverick first, at the exit of Maverick, turn right and head towards the bridge and go down Frontier Trail. After FT, you'll be in the entrance plaza.

If you head for TTD first, head left after the exit, turn around the Coasters restaurant and cross the train tracks and you'll be in the plaza.

If you plan on heading to Millennium Force first, I'd use the Beach Gate. Exit Breakers towards the beach and head up the boardwalk towards the front of the park (towards Windseeker). Go straight until you get to the main Midway (near the Sky Ride cable cars), hang a right and stay left at the fork heading straight towards Millennium's lift hill. You could also take a courtesy shuttle from the hotel to the Marina Gate, but it's roughly the same distance. For Maverick or Dragster use the aforementioned Resort Gate.
