I don't think Cedar Point is dirty at all, but I don't think it's as...immaculate as it used to be. My dad and I can both remember coming to Breakers and they were polishing the brass. Now the entrance looks pitiful.
As for more short-term dirt things, they do a great job. I see tons of people out there cleaning the midways.
My vote goes for Busch Gardens though. :)
Summer was made for a Cedar Point day~
Must be Six Flags. I went to GL when it was a Six Flags and really didn't like it. I was so turned off by the uncleanliness of it that I really didn't pay attention to how much I like the rides. I didn't feel as safe there as at CP either as far as being on the rides. I'm not sure I even got checked on some of the rides.
As far as CP, my only complaint-within reason- is the bathrooms. The midways are usually kept very clean, the queues and even the rides themselves are clean. As far as things like bird poop on rides, etc.-that can't be helped.
I always thought the whole thing about Six Flags' restrooms being covered in feces was just a joke among enthusiasts. Then I went to Six Flags America last weekend.
I entered a stall to change before going to the water park. The toilet, floor and one wall was covered in feces.
I went back to the same stall 5 hours later. The toilet, floor and one wall was still covered in feces.
I don't envy the people who clean the restrooms at CP, but I sure as heck appreciate them.
