Park Cleanliness

How would you all compare the park cleanliness this year compared to previous years? Or what about Cedar Point's cleanliness compared to other parks?

Didnt you make this topic last year?

Anyway CP is really clean but not as clean as Busch Gardens or Disney. But other than those parks its the cleanest I think.

No, I never made a topic about this.

Somebody did. Thats why you google it.

Let's Get Weird.

At least if it has been brought up then it's been a year. What do you have to say about the 20 "How crowded will it be" threads? Hell there's an FAQ for those as well.

Anyway, I find CP to be pretty clean but as said above no where near US, Disney or BG.

101 on Magnum and counting...

CP is actually very clean compared to other parks. It seems to me that I find a park sweep on every midway during the day. Plus the 1,638,927,943.6 trash cans all over the park sure do help. I have yet to attend KI now that CF bought it. But I bet it it is cleaner than it was.

CP is usually pretty good about cleanliness. It's not quite as good as Kennywood, but never NEARLY as bad as most Six Flags parks.

^ Kennywood? Clean? Are you serious? Cedar Point, though not perfect, is far cleaner than Kennywood and Idlewild (sister park) ever are.

It's called Millennium Force, not "Millenium" Force. Thanks.

Holiday World is the cleanest park I've ever seen. But I think CP does a very good job too for the most part.

CP definitely is one of the cleaner parks out there. I even thought that IoA could become dirtier than CP at many parts of the day. Other than some restrooms, CP is quite clean.

I've never found Kennywood to be unclean.

Can't wait until '08!

Except the bathroom by Magnum is disgusting about 90% of the time and has been that way for quite some time.

I would give Cedar point two thumbs up for their cleanliness in the outdoors. On Monday I actually say an employee walking around Power Tower in the grassy area with tongs picking up small pieces of garbage. As for Cedar Point's washrooms, half a thumb up. They are usually very messy and gross. There's usually water (or pee) everywhere and paper towel and toilet paper all over the floor. They do seem to take much better care of the washrooms that have been renovated recently though. Let's hope we see some more Xcelerator hand driers in 08.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

Its finally nice to see no cig...Butts lying around anymore...but Cedar Point is really clean for the most part...I suppose those employees who do "midway clean up" can't be in two places at once...lol

Umm yeah... the only park I ahve been to besides Cedar Point is Kennywood... and it was disgusting compared to cedar point, at least when I was there... garbage and rotting food on the walkways, gum and cigarettes everywhere, etc.

Which btw, speaking of cigarettes, I was at cedar point 3 times in the last 2 weeks and there was smoking all over the park every time I was there... as far as I can tell Cedar Point is doing little to noting to enforce their new "smoking policy"... I even saw people smoking right in front of cedar Point Police without so much as a look or comment from the police or other employees...

^^ That's how it always is when I go to Kennywood, which is pretty often considering I live just over a half-hour away from it. Both KW and CP need to work on their bathrooms, but overall park cleanliness is by far better at Cedar Point.

If Kennywood was dirty, and it's not, I'd still take it over Cedar Point for food.
