Cedar Point would not be Cedar Point without the seagulls.
Speaking of cleanliness, it always makes me so disappointed in my fellow humans when I walk out into the parking lot at night and see all the litter.
Message to any first time CPer's:
STEP ONE: Make eye contact with garbage
STEP TWO: Close fingers around aforementioned garbage
STEP THREE: Hold said garbage over garbage container
STEP FOUR: Open clasped fingers releasing garbage
REMINDER: Contrary to popular belief, garbage does not disappear into another dimension when thrown out of the car at night in the parking lot. It really does fall and stay on the concrete where you drop it.
Promoter of fog.
I can say that yeah Cedar Point is by far the cleanest park along with Holiday World, That I've been to. Now I've been to both on some very busy days, and with the large crowds both parks still locked good. SFGA I went to last July, it was pretty clean. The park had alot of trash can's. With the new owners of Kings Island, this year the park will be cleaner.

You're only made fun of if you're talking out your backside. Generally you're ignored if you aren't in the click. Unless of course you run around looking for a good debate or opportunities to make inflamitory remarks. Which i like to think is my speciality.

I've never noticed trash anywhere around the park that stuck in my mind. They do a good job keeping the park clean and looking great. One thing I will say that has stuck in my mind are the various gum walls/posts/trees around the park, those could be scraped clean a little more often.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
Well i assume that the ride ques are the domain of the rides department, and in Sept/Oct i imagine that they're straped for staff to operate rides. Perhaps one could push to move the sweeps off the midways, but one would also assume that they have their own staffing issues.
The parking lot isn't noticable i think until the cars pull out, furthermore who spends a ton of time in the sun baked lot? I can't imagine the park wasting time on staff during the day to walk up and down the lot between cars to pick up trash. Just wait until the end of the day and make one clean sweep for the next morning. I've never seen the lot a trash pit the in the begining of the day.
Generally i would say the CP is a pretty darn clean place.
smoke 'em if you got 'em
I can say that gum is the hardest thing to get off, some times it like getting up dried glue off. And yeah throwing trash away isn't as hard as some people think, all it takes is a little brain power. *** Edited 4/9/2007 2:13:43 AM UTC by Daniel Smith***

I think that CP is right up there with the Disneys, Universals, and Buschs of the world when it comes to cleanness. Taking into consideration the amount of people they bring in everyday, the beating they take from the Lake Erie weather and the daily dive bombing campaign by the seagulls, the place is immaculate.
I think they put in a great effort to keep it as clean as it is. Every where I look there is an employee with a broom and dust pan. Everytime I go to a Six Flags park I dont see anyone cleaning, especially with Magic Mountain. That place was a big dump!! Some cool rides, but it was a disgusting dump. They should take all those nice rides and move them to a location where there are friendly people and some clean grounds. I heard Knotts is a lot better, but i have never been there.
