Panda and Chick Fil A Prices

Take short drive and go to the Sandusky Fish Co. Fresh lake erie perch sandwich,yummy..

I hate to make the wait longer at Famous Daves, but you can take your parking receipt there to have it redeemed when you eat there. I believe the bill needs to be over $20 tho. I rarely ever eat the crap in the park anymore.
The grilled chicken sandwiches they used to serve near the snake river falls exit were good. Since they stopped selling them, I try to eat at Famous Dave's as often as possible.

I was at Wonderland today and noted a few things. Just to give everyone an idea of industry pricing on basic items like water and pop, look at these pictures before you complain about CP's prices. Yes, that's $3.50 for pop or water, and $4.75 for vitamin water (if you pay that you're an idiot). Also noted was that a funnel cake with strawberries is $9.99. A 2 entree meal at Manchu Wok (a chinese food chain like Panda, but very poor quality) was $9.99. A bottle of beer Bud Light (unfortunately the only beer available at the time) came to $8.04. And I didn't think it could be possible, but the foodservice I experienced today was just as bad, if not worse than Cedar Point. Cedar Fair has done some nice things with that park, but I hope they are still in transition because there was much room for improvement.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

Living in the Chicago area all my life until recently, I never visited a Chik Fil A until I moved down to Florida. They are extremely popular down here.

I tried it about 2 months ago and will never return. The food is meh at best and overpriced.

Them being closed on Sunday is just odd but I am assuming the founder was very religious and felt Sunday should be for church and family.

Is the Chik Fil A in CP closed on Sunday also? If it is, you would think an exception would be made there since it's a seasonal thing.

As for Panda? Yes, I like their food and the price is even decent at Six Flags for me to purchase it.

Just found out last week that if you keep your Chick Fil A cup you and go back and get free refills on fountain drinks. This does not include lemonade.

^^ Yes, the Chick-fil-a at Cedar Point is closed on Sunday's too.

From Wiki:[url][url]

"Chick-fil-A founder religious beliefs permeate the company to this day.

"Our decision to close on Sunday was our way of honoring God anddirecting our attention to things more important than our business. Ifit took seven days to make a living with a restaurant, then we neededto be in some other line of work. Through the years, I have neverwavered from that position.""

Even being closed on Sunday, that place does exponentially more business than the pizza joint that used to be there did.

I wonder how much of the extra business beyond the old pizza place is due to the fact that there is a new coaster there.

There does seem to be a lot more foot traffic back that way.

That pizza place never seemed that good to me, even by Cedar Point standards. The only good thing was that they had breadsticks. And in the fall, the food was never warm, even right when it was served to you.

I don't really care one way or the other about CFA, but if it is drawing in more business than the pizza place, then its a good switch.

Having only eaten there once, I was not too impressed, considering the prices. Its decent food, but as always, I'll take Fridays and/or Famous Daves over anything "in" the park.

I used to like the pizza place, not, God know, because of the cardboard pizza, but because that's such a nice building, with a covered poarch, perfect for a quick lunch during a rain shower.

The best thing about Chick Fil A in my opinion is the commericals, cows holding signs saying "Eat Mor Chikin". Everything abotu CFA after the billboard is a big let down. Too bad that Sonic, instead of CFA isn't migrating its way north.

I saw a food network special about amusement park food this weekend and BG Europe in Williamsburg looks amazing. Why can't CF manage any of that creativity and quality?!

The Frontier Inn was my favorite lunchtime place. In the old (pre-Maverick) days, it always seemed like we got back to the very back by just about noon or thereabouts, so it was very convenient. I actually loved the pizza, and I enjoyed sitting over by WWL in the shade. They have the same pizza at Chuck Wagon, but it's just not the same somehow.

The food choices at BGE and BGA are far superior to that of any of CF's parks. The prices are high but the quality is far better, and at least I never feel taken advantage of when I eat at BG parks or Disney.

Some people merely follow their dreams. Others hunt them down and mercilessly beat them into submission.

I've been to Kalahari in Sandusky twice now, and I don't hesitate to buy food there, because the food is so much better than at Cedar Point, for the same price, and...dare I say it...the fries are better! A brat alone will set you back more than $5 at CP. At Kalahari, in the water park, you can get a brat basket (with more than enough fries) for $5, and my personal favorite, the chicken, bacon, cheddar basket is $8. That isn't bad at all, especially considering the much better quality of the food.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
