Panda Express is the best deal in the park for food, if you ask me (I personally won't go to Midway Market again even if it were the last place open in the park). Its about $2 more than your typical mall location, which isn't too bad considering how much you get and how filling it is. I believe the two entree is $8.99, and I believe the Panda at my local mall is $6.99 if I remember right. So really, it isn't bad at all. Just take your plate into the Red Garter and get a free cup of water to drink, no need to spend another $3 on a pop that way.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
Wow, I'm wondering what happened then, because I couldn't get a cup of ice water inside Panda for the life of me the few times I tried last season. I gave up and just went over to Red Garter, as I was always over there to catch the show anyway.
But yeah, Panda is great, and is the one thing I don't hesitate to buy if I'm in the park on my split shift or day off.

I won't buy food at any of the counter service franchise places, because I know what they cost outside of the park. It's staggering to me that most people have the opposite reaction.

I'm willing to pay the Panda Express prices, because to me it's a great deal for Cedar Point food. They're not afraid to heap the food on there, and I like it.
But Chick-fil-A is just bad. 12 dollars for an 8-piece chicken ball meal. I was there a few days ago having a lemonade after Maverick... People were coming in and glancing a the menu, and just turning right back around. Many couldn't afford to eat there, the other ones were just unwilling to pay that kind of money for fast food. I must have seen about 15 groups come in and leave within 10 minutes.

I get that logic, but what about buying a bud-light for 6.39? I mean, there isn't anything in the park that I couldnt buy for cheaper elsewhere.

Alcohol always has a premium attached to it. And frankly you don't need it to get through your day either. It's not an apples comparison.

Just the fact that anyone would ever say "chicken ball" is enough not to eat that crap.

factory81, not to rag on you, but is there any specific reason why you continuously suggest TGI Fridays in every single topic involving food?
You make it sound like its some sort of luxurious option...it's not.
TGI Fridays is a sit-down restuarant, hardly an option for those looking for a quick snack as they go about the park...and unfortunately, the quick snack places are overpriced and undercooked.

The chicken sandwiches aren't really that big, and for two times the price you can get at least three times the food, and better food at that, from Panda. I only eat at Chick-Fil-A if I'm in the "don't care, I want something NOW" mindset, otherwise, I walk up to Panda.

If you just skip the soda, you'll save yourself so much money! I'm not just talking about at CP but everywhere. Most sit down restaurants charge $2.49. If you have a part of 4 thats like $12.67 just on soda if you take into account sales tax and 20% tip.
Although prices are high than places outside the park, it doesn't really matter that much. If you want to eat while you're there, you don't have the choice. It's the conveinece we pay for really. That's the whole premise behind 7-11.
Yeah, a single cold soda will cost you $1.49 but if you went to a grocery store, you could get a 6 pack of bottles for about $4. But you're paying for the fact that you can run in, get it cold, buy a single unit, and get out in just a few moments at 7-11. The same bottle will be $3 at CP.
