Pain in back...

I had the same sort of pain in my back, but it only lasted about 15 minutes. I have only ridden once (in the back seat), so I'm not sure what caused the problem. My guess is that the twisting on the way down may have done it.

A ride can be smooth and still cause discomfort if it changes directions quickly enough.

I'm 6'1", and I have plenty of room before my head would be in an uncomfortable position, so 6'2" shouldn't be a problem.

Rode Dragster for the first time yesterday.....what a rush.

For those inquiring about size, I'm 6'9", 260 lbs (pretty good - not great - shape). My head was pretty far up the headrest, but the ops let me ride, so I must have been within safety tolerances.

As for pain, none whatsoever - the ride is smooth as silk. Seats / restraints - again, very comfortable, even with the way the ops staple you in there. Not a single complaint here!
