Now, I may be wrong, but wasnt this the guy they banned supposedly fro mthe park? Something about hijacking a paddlewheel boat, maybe its a myth, cp has lots...this quote is so true though, only a real captain would know it...
Ellis loved to make people laugh. But piloting a Paddlewheel Excursions boat also had other benefits.
"Working on the ride was like a chick magnet," said Ellis. "The ride back then was at the top of the Cedar Point food chain. It was nice to be looked up to all the time."
SO true :) Top of the food chain, no, but I did get explain to many a guest that Millenium was in fact not the Raptor or Magnum painted blue :)

Please tell me the museum isn't a sick April Fool's joke. The Western Cruise...what a classic ride. (Hence, my handle.)
I always wanted to work the boats, but I was too young, and by the time I was almost old enough, they'd "ruined" it by turning it into Paddlewheel Excursions.
I hope someone can indeed make this part of CP history live on.
