Packing items up to take along...

I have a huge pink rubbermaid box, matching trashcan, fold up laundry bag, letter sorter...I'm thinking about buying a laptop to take along, because my computer is huge, and I don't want to deal with the space....and the dealing with hauling it....is this a good idea? and i have about 5 or six posters....is that common among the rooms?

Tiffani I would be really weary about buying a laptop just to bring along. I have one already and I don't think I'm going to bring it until I know who all of my roommates are. One thing I might do, that would possibly work for you, is to get some sort of lock box to keep it in and then a bike chain to chain it to your bed with.

Anyhow. . .where are you gonna stay? Because, since Commons Dorms have the lockers, if you were staying THERE, you could lock up your lappy-toppy.

I am bringing mine! Hehe I KNOW you wouldn't want it to ever get stolen, but generally, insurance covers that. . .check first! But, it would be a crazy headache, but still. It's something to remember!

Bring what you like...just remember that anything can be stolen, ripped, torn, stained, burned, cracked, dropped, etc. etc. (I'm running out of verbs!) If it's so special that you couldn't bear to have it destroyed or missing forever, leave it at home.
