Our Annual Cedar Point Trip July 29th-30th

Hi folks! Our annual Cedar Point trip is coming up. You would think (I would) that after doing Cedar Point for more than 15 years I would know everything, but with slight changes and rumors, you have to devouer more info (and that pretty much goes for anything else). Before I get to the questions, here's what we have planned so far:

We were originally going on a Sunday and Monday then leave on Tuesday in order to save money. Now we've changed to Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday then leave on Wednesday (which was what we did in the past). We will leave early Sunday morning; it's a 3 1/2 hr drive from Bellaire, OH to Sandusky. In the past we left late in the morning or early afternoon and enter the park in the evening. The plan was to do the park all day that day, but we decided that it will be exausting after getting up early, so on Sunday we will not go into the park at all (again, money saver). Instead, we'll play by ear and may do the following: hang out at the pool, hot tub, the beach, maybe walk from Hotel Breakers to Sandcastle, drive around Sandusky, see Snoopy at our hotel lobby. Yes we're staying at Hotel Breakers. Monday and Tuesday we'll enter the park. One of these days we would like to enter the park early perhaps. Maybe we'll catch the water rides at that time, though not at 9am obviously. Windseeker will be open at that time; here's hoping I'll be able to do that.

Here are the following questions:

1. Because I said I will not be in the park on the 29th, my days of riding Disaster Transport are over. Will Space Spiral be closed at the same time?

2. How are the lines for Windseeker between 9am-10am, and how are they in the evenings?

3. Anyone saw the new ice show and without spoiling anything, how is it?

4. Luminosity stage: same questions for Peanuts Party in the Plaza and Luminosity stage itself; is Luminosity worth going to (we want to do that on Monday perhaps)?

5. Am I right about doing the water rides in the morning and on that note, status report on Snake River Falls?

6. Because of Luminosity, is it safe to say that Starlight Experience is dead?

7. Cedar Point says it takes about 45 to 90 minutes to experience Dinosaurs Alive. Be honest, does it really take that long?

Thanks in advance.

1. Space Spiral isn't supposed to close until August.
2. I assume you have a Platinum Pass or staying on resort property? The line is very short during ERT. At night the line is around 20-30 minutes.
5. Open
6. The lights are still there, but it is basically dead.
7. It took my group 30 minutes max.

1. Space Spiral isn't suppose to close till late August but it's always closed when I go so there's a chance it might still be closed.
2. The lines are more busy during the evening/night. During the morning and day it's pretty much a one to two cycle wait.
5. The water rides are less crowded in the morning. SRF is open.

I don't know about the other questions. The ice skating show is air conditioned, I know that :)

Enjoy the rest of your day at America's Rockin' Roller Coast! Ride On!

I did forget another question about Snoopy Boutique. I heard that part of it where they have the trees left over from Berenstain Bear Country. For the record, I am also a Snoopy fan which explains why some of these questions are asked. Is this true (for anyone who has been in Snoopy Boutique this year)?

No I am not a Platinum Pass Holder; I am staying at Hotel Breakers, which gives me early access to the park. Surprized to hear that Windseeker is more crowded at night than during the day (I still plan on going in the morning, as I am of the water rides). I've been to the ice show before, but this is a bran dnew show which originally debuted last year at Knotts. Thanks everyone for the answers so far
