On the final MF train of the night for the 2010 season me and a friend were sitting back row and said let's get this thing moving and started clapping slow then getting faster the whole train joined in then when we got to the top we all broke out in cheer and I took off my shirt off and twirled it around
I just look around...muse at the person next to me who is usually scared...wish I could feel that way on roller coasters again. Seriously. Sometimes I do the 'Name an animal, song, band, etc for each letter in the alphabet' game.
I was at the park by myself last Thursday and it wasn't until some last minute rides on Magnum with a loose seat belt and lap bar that I actually cracked a smile on a ride (the air time was fantastic and it was pretty smooth for Magnum standards).
I make sure I have plenty of wiggle room on every ride just to get air, just to get a slight sense of thrill...I get air, no excitement. I haven't screamed on a ride since my first ride on Millennium in 2000, haven't felt anticipation in line since my first time on Dragster in 2003. Since then there has been nothing that has invoked either (Maverick, meh...Gatekeeper, boring).
...Might be dead and not know it... :)
My coaster hierarchy at Cedar Point: Magnum, Millennium, Mean Streak, Wicked Twister, Dragster, Blue Streak, Gemini, Raptor, Mantis, Iron Dragon, Corkscrew, Mine Ride, Gatekeeper, Maverick (Disaster Transport and Wildcat would have gone before Gatekeeper and Maverick)
