Craziest thing I've ever done was last year at Knoebels. Was 2nd row on the Twister, with 2 college girls in front row. Halfway through the ride, was able to slip on a scream mask, so when we got our pic at the tunnel I was peering right between them. They were shocked, but laughing when we all saw the picture.
On Gemini I ride the blue train every time, and I never look forward on the lift or during the drop. Always staring at the other train. Also give high fives every time we get passed or pass the other train. When there was only one side running, I yelled "WE BEAT RED!!" after they asked, "How was your ride?"
On Power Tower I usually yell, "I'm allergic to heights!" right when we start going up. That usually gets some laughs.
Most of the time I just ride because they are amazing at Cedar Point, and I don't get there very often..

Thats pretty sweet. I would buy that pic even if I wasn't in it!
Let's Get Weird.
I realize this is an old thread so if it's an issue to post on something so old I'm sorry but I was surprised nobody mentioned kissing their significant other at the top of the first hill of a coaster and staying lip locked as far down the hill as possible.
One thing I've done on MF is rather than look down the first drop, I look up at the sky...it's kinda freaky. The first over-banked turn can give you a massive head rush early in the morning (I haven't eaten breakfast at this point yet) if you look slowly down and back while going through it. Doesn't happen all the time but it keeps it interesting when it does.
Anyone else like to high five the other train on Gemini? Sometimes you get others that will and sometimes everyone on the other train look at you like your an idiot.
GO IRISH!!
^ haha, some people have no sense of fun, and act all goody-goody at the park. I hate people like that, I bet they were all holding tight onto the lapbar too!
High fiving the other train is the best part of Gemini - Well that and egging them on how your blue train is going to beat the red one....All in good fun of course.
Cedar Point guest since 1974
On TTD I do the O-H-I-O arm motion on the launch, and earlier this year I started sing Thrift Shop on Magnum's first hill
"This ride is rougher than getting *blanked* by a *blank*". Use your imagination and fill in the blanks differently every ride. There's an unbeatable phrase though... Ill try and let you figure that one out.
Doing funny "confessions" as if you are going to die right before you go over a hill, at the end of the ride you try and justify whatever it is you confessed to the people around you.
I can't take credit for this one but I have seen people pretend to row the coaster up the hill while screaming row with every stroke.
Top Steel: New Texas Giant
Top Wood: Timberwolf (don't judge me..)
^I've been there, I was gemini with friends and I was the last row of the train giving commands like a viking ship :P
I just wish loose articles were allowed, I would've wore a viking helmet :P

I do, that's been a Gemini tradition since it opened. As far as the other train, it doesn't really take a lack of "high five" for me to get that "you're an idiot" look. :)
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
On all of the taller rides (Millennium, Dragster, Magnum, Power Tower, Magnum) i usually look around and see if i can see lines for other rides lol.
It wasn't a coaster but my friend and I went on Skyhawk last summer. We sat on the 2 seats closest to the people waiting in line and when it started swinging, my friend and I picked someone out of the crowd waiting in line and pointed at him each time we went by and yelled "you da man!' You da man!!". It was hilarious! You can sorta do it at the end of millenum too but it's a lot of fun!

Not on the first hill, but my wife and I have 5 straight years of kissing on the mean streak camera. Yes we bought each picture and yes they are proudly displayed.

I wish there had been photos on Gemini in 1993. I would love to have a wedding day pic of me on it in my dress.

I've tried holding my breath throughout an entire ride on Raptor starting from the top of the lift hill. Its actually pretty difficult. I can hold my breath for a full minute on the ground, but while subjected to all those forces? Its harder than I thought it'd be!
I'll have to try this next time. Also on Raptor, I try to keep my legs straight out for the entire ride. They always give out about half way.
I always high five the other train on Gemini, if they do it first. And I can't help but duck my head when it feels like that board is going to get me. lol.
When we first rode Iron Dragon we were in high school. We used to say it was mellow enough that you could do your homework on it. Now even though we are in our mid 20's we still ask each other what kind of homework we have to do on it. I had english yesterday. :)
We used to scream at the top of our lungs on DT and Iron Dragon pretending that we were terrified.
I always try to look for our car when going up a lift hill or look at the lake/park.
I always try to make a crazy face when I see the camera. Yesterday there was a security guard at MF and he laughed at my picture. lol.
Sometimes we would pretend that we were walking up the lift hills.
As for closing my eyes on a coaster, I used to do that all the time my first few times at CP. I rode DT first and thought that it wasn't so scary because I didn't see what was coming up. So I rode everything with my eyes closed.
Finally I got brave enough to ride with eyes open. Then brave enough to ride with my hands up. lol. Now I look forward to the first drops on the coasters with my hands up and eyes open. haha.
There is a set of blue circular seats near the Dragster midway I believe. We always say it's our favorite ride and ask each other if we can ride it. Then we sit on the circular seats. lol.
We used to call our favorite coasters our "house". I think my cousin started this one. My house is Magnum. My sister's is MF, and my cousins is Dragster.
Sometimes we sing songs on the lift hills or say weird things to make the time go faster by being silly. Or sometimes we will scream something right before going over the hill.
