Ok this is my first trip report so here it goes:
On Saturday night we arrived at the park at 9:30 and grabbed a walk on for Magnum. I must say this was an awesome crew. Then we hustled over to Dragster just as they stopped letting people in. We were the last to get in line!! The line was about 20 min. to the station, and we were determined to get either front seat or last ride. We couldnt wait for the front so we just grabbed a seat in the middle and sure enough, we get last ride of the night for opening day!(which is a good feeling to have under my belt).
We stayed overnight off point and arrived Sunday at about 9:40, it was starting to rain and from walking from the gate to iron dragon my shoes are soaking wet. But that didnt matter because I knew we would be wet anyway. The line for MF was at the station so we jumped in line and sure enough it starts to pour. We waited around for about fifteen minutes then decided to go over to Mantis because that was the only thing running. that was a walk on. We headed to maverick to see what was going on with that. nope closed. It was raining cats and dogs by 11:30 so we went to the small arcade back by Mav until it stopped raining. Noticed skyhawk was running so we jumped on that it was another walk on, and it starts to rain. We rode it two more times in rain, ya that was fun but painful. We went back to try to get on MF as we saw it testing but sure enough, the rain kept pouring, so we walked on iron dragon. we decided to head back to the front of the park to hit up disaster transport, nope, that was closed. so we settled for wicked twister and blue streak. by now, 1:30, the rain had stopped and coasters had started testing. We went back to MF to get a 5 minute wait. that ride is amazing, hands down. we noticed maverick was starting to run while going up the hill on MF so we went back and the sign said 45 min. wait. no we were on it in 20! front seat on that is pretty wicked i must say. We finished the loop around the back by hitting Magnum which was a walk on. We were starting to get tired so we headed toward the front to see if Raptor was up, yes it was, another walk on we didnt even have to stop for one cycle! We needed our stuff from the lockers by MF so while we were there we got in line because it was in the station, grabbed a front seat on that. and went around and rode again. well since there was nobody in line, they just let us stay on and we rode around again! pretty cool huh. well it was about 4:30 so we decided to head out.
it was an awesome trip. We got multiple rides on some of the better stuff, and bragging rights to last train of night for opening day. I also learned that it is a very dumb idea not to bring a rain jacket if you know it is going to rain haha. overall it was a very exciting time except for the rain.

That is really cool they let you ride MF twice without getting off. I have never got a ride op to let me do that even with similar conditions as you had today.
Whats the deal with the last train of the night bragging rights? I have to say I'm no more jealous of you than the person who rode at 4:00 on Sept. 4th 2006. In any case glad to see you had a good trip!
^ after we got off we saw people doing that, but we were wet and tired so we decided to leave.
and to realmadrid311, it might not seem like a big deal to you, but it was the first ride on top thrill for everyone in my group but me, and it was everyone's first time getting a last ride of the night on something, and it was opening day.
