Opening Songs for Laser Show

I'm planning on taping this year's laser show, mainly to keep me occupied during the off-season. That page with the music was a great find, though it won't work in WMP for me...

For some reason I get weird errors when using Windows Media Player. It will work one time then give me an unsupported protocol error the next time. The quicktime one works all the time, but the quality is not as good.

^Doesn't seem like anyone can get the Windows Media Player version to work... If anyone knows how to fix this problem, it'd be greatly appreciated!

well just to add it doesnt work for me. what im doing is ripping the audio out of the quicktime so that i can burn to cd and use in future movies that i make. Especially the ones dealing with cedar point

Can ask for someones help? I am having a hard time finding these songs. I cant seem to find anything that matches what you put. Where did you guys get the music from? Did you download it or did you buy it from somewhere?

I am sure whoever owns that audio would just love to hear that you are "ripping" them off.

They are the ones who had it available to listen to on the website and didnt prevent it from being saved when you click file save page as!!! and all im doing is takeing it off of the quicktime file to make it mp3. no videos go with it

This was a clip that I recored between Disaster Transport and maXair in May 2005. Thanks for spreading this along and bumping it up!

I'm also curious about the song that Haux posted. That is one of the few sounds that "is" Cedar Point to me.

Major kudos to Maniaman for finding out the laser show songs.

I have re-constructed the entire 10-minute mix by saving the tracks off the link from above and using Goldwave to paste them together. Reproduction quality is perfect.

I've done the same thing, but I'm having a hard time finding anything remotely close to "flight 1701, (1701 in echo) clear for take off."

Ahh, 1701. My favorite ship's call numbers.

Sorry to bring up this topic again, but I found a way to get the WMA files to work. Right click on the Windows Media icon and click properties, then highlight and copy the address of the link. Then open Windows Media Player and go to "open URL." Paste the link, and then at the end, change "asx" to "wma" and it will play perfectly. The WMA quality is much better too!
