Opening Songs for Laser Show

I was wondering if anybody knew the Pre Show Songs for the Laser Show. I didnt see this in any other forums. Thanks

at 9:45pm they play an intro and it announces the show will be starting in 15 minutes. Then they play an upbeat band piece ( I can try to find out what that piece is). When it is 9:55, they announce the show will be starting in 5 minutes. They just keep playing the same piece over and over until the show starts at 10.

The song came off a professional CD kit, the kit was like $600 bucks. The song is unknown.

The song was a yanni song. The name of the song is everglade run.

Everglade Run is after the show. And I dont want to sound mean but the CD Kit for $600.00 I wonder because I CBS Station here where I live, Makes Commercials with the same song. So I dont belive its a CD Kit. Maybe I should just contact Stone Mountain Productions who puts on the Laser Show

I got the information on the CD kit from a person who works in the Live Entertainment office who deals with that music. That person would know best, that is why I called that person.

I imagine most places would purchase a CD like that for the tidbits of music they can use, sounds pretty logical to me, if I needed tidbits of music I think I would spend the money for it.

Wow, excellent find! How did you come across that?

I asked about iton the Questions&Comments page of the Cedar Point website a few months ago and got a reply a few days later. I was going to post it here, but forgot to. Just happened to come across it again today.

Awesome find! I asked them the same question on their website about a year ago, and they sent me back an e-mail saying that they "couldn't realease the information."

The mixes on the Mix V are not exact. The pre-show was actually made up of bits and pieces of various CD's they have out. I'd had to put mine in and listen to remember exactly which ones they are.

The Mix V wasn't out when the show was put together if I recall..

While we are on the subject of the laser show, I remember there being a a short video on the laser show that you could download from Virtual Midway. Could that be posted again?

Are you the one who took the video? Or do you know who did? I just want to know if they said anything about whoever videotapeing. Im thinking of Tapeing the entire thing this year and ill try to get it so everyone can download it.

Ill probably try no matter what the worst they can do is kick me out of the park right?

Just as a side note i emailed the Sound Ideas company to see if it was possible to purchase just mix cd #38 which has all 4 of the songs on it metioned above.

I took the video. The only show where videotaping is prohibited is the ice show (and maybe Tim Hill, I don't recall). Taking pictures at the ice show is OK, though, as long as you don't use a flash.

Taping the whole show for personal use would be OK, as far as I know. However, taping the whole thing for any kind of distribution would probably be frowned on for legal reasons. That's why I only offered a short montage clip.

Supposidly no show is to be taped in it's entirety, but many, many people tape the laser show, and no one seems to have any problems. I tape a copy of the show every year, and have had no problems; so far.... ;)
