Factory - I've always wanted to get a train full of people with webbed swimming gloves to do just that.
YeeHaw - its not about the chances going down, its about the park spending money on something frivolous to fix a problem that doesn't exist. I realize that DKs nephew may own the contractor and that's probably the biggest reason for making this change, but that doesn't make it any less asinine.
Goodbye MrScott

Another thing is for the pictures you showed Yeehaw, those are 2 kickers placed in a set with each set within 2 feet of each other plus they are both pushing together against each other. So basically they both work together and there are a lot more of them, also going along with what Adam says, Kickers work on a plane, not on a curved surface.

AGAIN, I knew you were going to point those out. And I have another response.
Look at both of those coasters. They both have consecutive amounts of drive motors lined in a row that help push the train(s) up the hill. Woodstock Express has light weight trains anyway and uses motors with more than enough horsepower to get a fully loaded train over. So that point is null and invalid.
Hulk uses an incredible amount of extremely high power motors to propel the heavy B&M trains up the lift. http://rcdb.com/ig557.htm?picture=16 So THAT point is null and invalid.
I still stick by what I said, and John further proved my point.

"I knew you were going to say that"? What are you? Five?
I'm done arguing this with you, its technically feasible. Who knows how many drive tires are going up or how they are configured? I dont, not for sure anyway. But I'm not the only one who has heard this from people working at the park. Have fun on opening day. Hope you get a rollback. ;)

Well then... that wasn't rude at all. So about opening day... less than 3 months!

I know, only a few months of torture to go.
My only question to you Yee Haw is have you seen them installing these drive wheels? Have any of the people on here who are agreeing to this seen proof? Or are you SOOOOOOOO certain in your "sources" that you'd believe them if they'd say that our next coaster is a 500ft, 10 inversion intamin prefab wooden coaster with special toilet seats in case of on ride accidents? I have my sources too and I take EVERYTHING they hear and tell me with a grain of salt. And they themselves usually brush off most of the rumors that seem to fly around like flies over the freshest load of cow dung.
So my last thing on this matter (cause I'm done throwing out the obvious facts) is don't say this is actually happening unless you have solid proof.

Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. And no, I wouldn't believe something stupid like that. This however, is quite reasonable.

Even though I have to work *unfortunately* I plan on going to park for a few hours. I may call off.
ask me for my facebook.

Only if you ignore logic, intelligence and rational thought. You're saying they are spending money to fix a problem that doesn't exist. That alone violates all 3 of those.

I didn't know Donald Rumsfeld was a poster here...welcome! Can we just bomb Six Flags out of competition?

Sounds messy. Having a train full of toilets going through ten inversions sounds very messy.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
^They aren't that messy, they have special poop magnets that holds crap to the bottom of the toilet.
Disaster Transport 2012
Those "poop magnets" you're refferring to...isn't it called gravity and centrifugal force in this case?:)
-Adam G- The OG Dragster nut
I'm not a big fan of using acronyms via internet messaging or text messaging, however in this case....
LMAO
Poop magnets and specialized toilets is the thing I needed to read to brighten my day.
Opening Day = 80 days and counting
Terror Island Screamster 08', 09', 10', 11'
Anyone have plans for opening day, in terms of what rides they are hitting first?
First rollback=opening weekend '09
Dragster
Maverick
Millennium
Bathroom
Raptor
and in that order too
Terror Island Screamster 08', 09', 10', 11'
This is the first year I will have a platinum pass, how does that work in terms of the hour early admission. What Im trying to say is should I expect a line and when should I arrive.
First rollback=opening weekend '09
Expect a group of frequent CP goers at the front and back gates. We tend to line up at 8am. The park opens at 9am for Platinum Pass holders. I'd suggest getting their early if you want to take full advantage of early entry. However, opening day is not that busy so you can pretty much get all the ERTs within the one hour.
Terror Island Screamster 08', 09', 10', 11'
^Awesome, thank you. I'll try to get there around 8. What is all covered under ERT? I had a regular pass last year and an employee must have accidently let us in early because we got in an hour early and I remember i being, Raptor, MF, Maverick i believe, and im not sure what else.
