New for 2024- Wicked Twister Plus
Outside of SV it's a moderately busy day. Walked onto Magnum, most rides look to be 20-30 minutes. Maverick and MF are an hourish.
Steel Vengeance took four hours and that was with a brief moment of downtime and about 15 minutes of single train operation.
^^ Believing stuff read on the internet? So all those things I mentioned were fake even though there is video evidence of ride ops riding BS' running boards and Gemini running 3 trains?
But keep labeling everybody that disagrees with your narrative as "tinfoil hat"...
I was referring to your nonstop reference to your online bible of enthusiast morals.

Per the app, SV is down. So are Gatekeeper, Valravn, and Dragster.
Bitch all you want - I am happy to be back!
Hearing Steel Vengeance had an incident. 2 trains bumped in the station under 5 mph. Ride is down obviously as a result. No injuries. Anyone see anything?
CP Coaster Top 10: 1. Steel Vengeance (40 rides to date) 2. Top Thrill Dragster (191 launches to date, 4 rollbacks) 3. Magnum XL 200 4. Millennium Force 5. Maverick 6. Raptor 7. GateKeeper 8. Valravn 9. Rougarou 10. Gemini
Anyone notice if you can walk down the new boardwalk to get to the back gate for early entry? I would assume you can.
Being involved is not the same as being committed. It's like bacon and eggs; the chicken is involved, but the pig is committed.

Looks like they should have stuck with the single train operation

Yes, there was a small collision between two trains. Here Is an account from someone who witnessed it: "Happened about 1:30. There was a train in the station already loaded and the second train rolled through the normal stopping point and bumped the back of the loaded train. It was low speed but it moved the front train forward a few feet. Everyone seemed ok except for one person who seemed to be uncomfortable more than the rest."
There were a few photos floating around Facebook and Twitter.
That is exactly why I dislike Fast lane, it's just not right, my husband and I are on very limited incomes as many people are and just because we aren't rich we have to wait hours. We are going to week after next when they are open weekdays. I'm not knocking CP at all as I know this is the society we live in just hard to accept at times. I'm thankful that season passes have the spread out payment plan as that's the only way we can afford it.
We opted yesterday to go to Kings Island, it's much closer for us unfortunately but it was a great day at the park, no waits over 10 minutes and then we got drenched just as soon as we loaded on Banshee, that ride hurt like hell, I don't mind the rain but I had shorts on never again! We will be back tomorrow and are waiting for CP to open during the week and hope it will be a bit better.
I wonder if there is any point of arriving at early entry if I choose to go tomorrow. I'm doubtful SV will be running, and I don't know how prepared the other rides will be. I remember last May the rides were slow to start on Early Entry.

Got in line at 9:15 for SV, turns out help desk wasn't on same page as other employees with fanny pack thing because they said fanny packs were allowed but while we were about to enter Deprivation queue, employees were shouting no fanny packs. Oh well thank goodness for giant pockets that can fit fanny packs lol.
We got on after 4.5 hours, were going to buy fast lane plus first but for some reason we were silly and thought we'd get only an hour wait doing early entry. Boy were we wrong! The wait was definitely worth it though and we bought FL+ right afterwards. Right now a few of our favorite rides aren't open but hopefully before the end of the day they will be. Not sure about Steel Vengeance though after the accident, still hoping for that though because another ride would be awesome. It's my new favorite coaster by far!
Edit: nevermind just heard that it's down for the day.

^I wanna comment on that post, but I just can't bring myself to that stupidity.
I was tempted but what was it going to do? He's having a rough day and I can understand being frustrated, but he's a bit over dramatic.
That said, if he is such an expert why would he go opening day?
