Opening Day 2012 details

Okay, so my friends and I are purchasing season passes again this year and decided to go on opening day! I had a few questions though. Can platinum pass holders get in an hour early on opening day or will there be some kind of opening ceremony so everybody gets in at the same time? Also, if only one of us has a platinum pass (just to get the free parking) can we all get in early? That's probably a silly question, but I'm just wondering:)

Only the platinum pass holder can get in to early entry. If you go through the main gate, security checks the passes before letting anybody past Donut Time.

I go to opening day every year and you do get in the hour early with a platinum pass and the opening ceremony usually ends around 9am
