Opening Day 2001
Opening day 2001 and so many more stories. Met up with Jo front gate in the morning. As soon as the ribbon was cut the rush was on too raptor for us. Only too find out it was down. (along with Mantis and magnum at for a little bit) So we met up with Dan, Anne, JS, his sister, etc... and rode magnum after it got back up. Magnum was running fine by the way. Only one rough ride blue train ejector seat. Hit mean streak (no comment on that ride) then Maintenance Force; I mean Millennium Force. Not a great day for that ride. Up and down on and off the whole day.
Had a great tailgate party courtesy of JS, Thanks for that JS. Raptor was up and down the whole day, got one ride but it was running super. Funniest part of the day when Dan, Anne, and I waited for our second MF ride. We found our new CP joke for 2001 then. Blamed every breakdown (which happened quite often) on a certain person, and well never mind I'll stop their but a lot of other things I will refrain from saying happened in that line. As CP is a family place, not a place for making families.
Finished the day by hitting corkscrew, Gemini the magnum. Weather partly sunny but butt cold (thanks JS for the sweater) Much more I could add but too tired and I am sure it will be covered in Dan's or JS's or someone's TR.
