I appreciate all of your opinions about Gold - I've heard more than enough stories to gather that it is not exactly paradise! I've been inside Cedars though, and didn't think it was THAT bad. Small, yes.(The first time I visited somebody at Cedars, I stepped into their room and literally thought it was just the closet). I'm mainly looking to live on-point this season to avoid getting 'distracted' - last year I lived in Bayside, and the group of friends I had were very much into partying (well, who at Cedar Point isn't? ;o) and it seemed that despite myself, I was out until 2 or 3 most nights...plus there were some extra people who decided to move into my apartment, I didn't really mind, I just moved into somebody else's apartment, which made it a whole lot harder to ever get sleep. Plus I had to wake up at 6:30 at the absolute latest in order to get to work on time...some mornings I swear I was physically unable to wake up. Well, I'm sure nobody wants to hear my CP sob story, so my point is just that I wanted to live in Gold this time around for the convienience and hopefully being further away from the clubs will contribute to more hours of sleep (out of sight, out of mind, or at least I'm hoping...) Also it always seemed like when I was done with my shift, I had to wait an hour for the shuttle or else wait an hour for somebody with a car and the seven other people the Person With A Car was riding home to be ready to go...regardless of the conditions, it sounds like paradise to me to be able to just go and collapse into bed as soon as I'm done working!
I have just one more question about the rooms in Gold - how many electrical outlets does each room have?
Okay, two questions - what exactly does "Community Style" bathrooms mean? Are there enough showers for everyone or do you usually have to wait in a line to take a shower?
Thanks very much to anyone who responds - I hope everyone working at CP this season has a great time :)
