^^^I still think the next area to be focused on will be near the whole Blue Streak/Dorms area. Maybe Rob Decker's challenge relates to an expansion of this area of the park with the removal of the dorms. I'd say either 2015 or 2016 would be likely.

On a separate, unrelated note, there are now rumors--faint but still in existence--that Carowinds could be the next Cedar Fair park to get a Wing Rider, in 2015.

The park doesn't really need a new coaster. I mean, yeah, they could probably use a wild mouse to replace WildCat, seeing as how that's basically the only category of coaster they now lack. Regardless, I wouldn't hold your breath for something of that scale (or target audience) so quickly. It just doesn't make any sense to install coasters so frequently.

I sincerely hope the new challenge is to create something the park really needs - a dark ride.

In regards to the "new" style of queue wait time sign.... (Kings Island style) I wonder if any of the other attractions will be getting this style instead of the A Frame signs they use now on the major attractions. Any ideas?

My god the line is already ridiculous for GateKeeper and the queue isn't even open yet.

Is it just me, or is the "automagic" refresh not working today?

Has the line been opened yet or is that the actual line for the ride?

Web cam shows line out into parking lot just to get in....

We hung out with Kyle for about thirty minutes during OSU day. The ride was closed for rain. He was one of the most entertaining ride ops of the day.

Kyle is an awesome ride op! Yesterday when at GK there was an employee that was really funny and energetic and I looked at his name tag, and sure enough, it said Kyle. He is great at his job.

From the looks of the parking lot, and statements at media day, they will be adding additional parking. Glad I am not there today!
