one of the scariest rides?

on my most recent trip to cedar point, i was trying to conclude what the scariest ride at cedar point is. Obviously it was TTD, but wicked twister is second in my book because of the launch, freefall, and depending where you sit, the forces. Where does WT stand in your minds in scariest coasters, #1, #2, #3??

I love WT, its tied @ MF in fun factor. I think its VERY underated! I dont think its scary, to me, going up the hill on MF is considered "scary" or "disturbing" to me, where as every aspect of WT is FUN!

Wicked Twister is underated.....its both fun and scary. When I first rode it, it was amazing and when it was all done and over with I couldn't stop laughing. It was one of the best rides I've ever been on.

I think WT is the best value of any coaster in the park. It is the best coaster for the wait, in the whole park. I can usually ride at least 2 or 3 times for what it takes for 1 MF ride.

WT is one of my favorite coasters. I agree that it is underrated. I have more fun on that ride than just about anything else.

WT is a very good ride considering the wait is never that long. I remember my first time on it I couldnt stop laughing the whole time. Although I do think that MF and Magnum are better rides (not yet been on TTD) WT is one of the best rides in the park.

i was un lucky when i went to cp, we got in the line,(which was pretty much all the way full!!)when it was a little dim, not sunny but not dark, and got of the ride when it was completly pitch black!!

yeah, just looking at wicked twister i didnt think it would be that good. simply stated, i was wrong. i sat towards the back a the 2nd time up the back spike i was going crazy. couldnt stop talking about it for a long time after that.

its funny though for all you that have rode the TTD. First time i rode the WT i was suprised by the launch we rode TTd and then got on the WT and was like that was funny comapred to the TTD, the launch is like nothing then

I also agree that WT is very underated. TTD does put it's launch to shame, but the twist make up for it. I like it because every seat has a different ride. The front and back are completly different rides but both awesome. MF and TTD are very extreme rides but you're going so fast your brain can't take everything in. On WT you stop 200' in the air 2-3 times and gives you a chance to notice how far up you really are.

I do agree WT is a very good ride but it didn't scare me at all.

WT doesn't have that long of a line, which is amazing. Short wait for a great ride. It's a great ride, but, like Tubby, it didn't scare me. But I'd say it's second on the thrill factor (note, I haven't rode TTD).

WOW!!! it's about time i've found some other fans of the Wicked Twister. I love this ride!!! I caught 4 rides last night before close and every one was great plus the wait was walk on. I kinda think of it as my own coaster at night because everybody else is doing MF or TTD. Everybody forgets about those beutiful yellow spikes on the beach. Why this ride gets forgotten about I have no idea, I do wish the park would make a patch and vinyl sticker for it like they did for MF TTD Magnum and Raptor. I'm dying to sport some WT stuff. I'm just glad I found some actual fans of the ride. Going up the back spike in the back seat that's some good quality stuff right there. Love that ride!!!

I can only say I've been scared of WT once. Last year in the beginning of the season I got on just after one of its nightly breakdowns in the front seat. This was back when it was running full power, and I swear we were less than 5 feet from nailing the brake on top of the front spike. I know nothing horrible would've happened even if we did bump the brake, but it was still a little frightening at the time. I'd have to say that my first time sitting in the staging area on TTD was about 5 times that scary though...

If there was an impulse at my home park I'd wait all day in line just for it, after I rode I would hop right back in line. The ride is just amazingly fun.

I know what you mean. Everyone I know says WT was only alright. As for the small lines, I take as a gift to all of the people who know WT is an awesome ride. WT + no wait = Best Ride Ever!

wt is one of the greatest rides at cp i think it rates up in my top 3...its reride ability is great, lines are always short, and it is an awesome ride to ride in any seat

Just a hint to ya Gomez, Go over to WT at about 20 minutes till close that area is a ghost town. No lie I got 4 rides in on Friday night in less than 10 minutes. I agree with you're statement WT+ no wait = best ride ever. It may not be the best ride, that belongs to TTD for me but easily the best wait for a great ride.

Do people even realize this thing is over 200ft tall and yet there is no line at night and heck even sometimes during the day. I don't get it. Hey, I'm not complaining you'll know where to find me when Halloweekends rolls around. I'm going for 100 rides.

Sorry, can't agree with you on that one. Near the middle sucks. The front and back are the best. I pefer the front, though.
