On Ride Photo Section...

Who here agrees with me that Maverick will probuly have an on ride photo section? I think Cedar Point needs another ride with an on ride photo! I hope for one!! Ideas anyone?

I think that's a given.

Was there a need to start a new thread about this?

Cool, i have as many posts as MF is high.

Bow down, Bow down before the power of Santa, or be crushed, be crushed by----- his Jolly boots of Doom.

Coming Soon! Star Wars episode 7- The Fallen Hero
episode 8- The Republic in Crisis
episode 9- Victory of the Force

yes

Where else would I have put this?!

I would also think they would have an on-ride photo station. As long as people buy them (which they certainly do at CP and definately do for a new coaster) it seems like easy money.

Thrills Around the Corner!

Like Dragster, I think they will have something unique for a photosection. Maybe when the riders are upside-down on the inline or during the midcourse launch.

i agree. i've never purchased any of those pictures on any ride i've been on. maybe if they were less expensive.

They didn't on WT.

Is there a roller coaster out there in the world that instead of having an on-ride photo, has an on ride video? Instead of just a picture, you get a video of your entire ride. I know that Hersheypark did this for one of their water rides, but I wasn't sure if their was any coasters that did it.

That would be tight!

Let's Get Weird.

^and expensive. If we cant buy a picture, what makes you think we would buy a DVD?!

I love Monkeys! I love Monkeys!

There are several coasters out there that have on-ride DVDs of your personal ride. I believe Top Gun at Carowinds (a fellow Cedar Fair park) has the system.

I belive Shiekra at Busch Gardens Africa has on-ride video. But I think it mostly uses stock video with a few clips of you strewn about in the video. No idea on the price though.

I have a Shiekra DVD. I think it cost about $20, but your right about whats on it. Maverick isn't a big enough ride for a DVD I would guess.

I've never been to Cedar Point, but I hear it's nothing special.
Top 5 coasters: 1. Millenium Force 2.(tie) Dragster/Maverick 3. Shiekra 4. Alpengeist 5. Shivering Timbers

Top gun at Canadas Wonderlands has on-ride video.

Yes, we already knew that

Yeah your better off with the photo.

101 on Magnum and counting...

Judging by the image released the photo section could be in the enclosed launch area? Any other guesses?
