on-ride photo???

hi,i was wondering if anyone bought the on-ride picture?if so can you post it on here because i wanted to see what the upside-down part looked like.i can imagine it looks pretty cool!!!

There is no upside down part where a picture is taken.

Both pictures are right side up due to the heartline roll being removed.

oh man! i really wanted there to be the upside-down part.hey(is for horses),maybe the can put it in one of the rolls?!?

It's where the heartline was supposed to be, right after the launch and spin around the pond.

They also take your photo in the tunnel. So, you get two shots.

Even if the heartline had stayed, the photo would wouldn't have been of you upside down. It would have been as you exited the heartline.

they should put it in the corkscrew roll as i said before.it would be cool!

Not the greatest view of it because I was too lazy to scan it so I just took a picture of it with my camera to get it on here. I really like Maverick's onride photo. I bought this one because it was my first ride ever on Maverick. I'm the one with the arms up in the first picture.

They take 2 pictures?!? I bought my on ride photo on May 29th and it only has 1 picture and doesn't even look like the one Vince posted

That was because on opening weekend they only had the one pic available. From what I heard they took the two shots from the beginning and alternated which one they made available, but when I rode the other day and went into the on ride photo booth you were able to see/purchase BOTH pictures, just like TTD's setup.

How much are Maverick's photos? I noticed that prices went up around the park this season.

My Maverick photo was $12.

On a related note, is there anyone else who can't stand how they try to make it look like you're in the first row? I especially don't like it since I actually was in the first row for my photo.

Why does this bother you?

It doesn't really bother me, although it looks like it may not work out so well in the tunnel. It looks like it needs a bit of adjusting.

I was at Cedar Point last Saturday and one shot shows me freaked out holding onto the handle bar for dear life and the other shot just shows me smiling going through the tunnel. Maverick has a lot of intensity I swear. The only thing that bothered me about on ride phots we're that they cut me out in one side.

I almost think having those on-ride cameras to film your ride would be well worth it on Maverick...

Because it looks so lame. Someone already mentioned it, but it isn't even lined up right in the first picture. Millennium Force is actually worse. They also superimpose the front of the train on your picture and they make it look like your train is ripping through the paper it's printed on. Lame.

You should report the employee that forced you to buy that picture to park management. You can contact them here.

Or, better yet, here's the new and improved one. Screaming children decals and all at no extra charge.

Me too. I wish they would leave the photo alone. They do the same on MF. It is cheesy looking.
