On-Point Dorm Opening Dates

Last year, someone who worked with employee housing was able to find out when CP planned on opening the on-point dorms and then posted it on here for us. I was wondering if someone else knew or could find out this again. It would be very helpfull so that we can figure out what we need to bring and when.

Are you sure Matt? Last year it was the middle of May. They open it later because there is no heat in the buildings and it is still cold through May...

Yeah, last year I think they opened on May 14th. I doubt they would open them in mid-April. Anyone who works with the employee housing or human rescources know for this year?

I remember that they opened them the Thursday after Opening Weekend, so maybe that'll be the case again??!! Just an idea!! :)

So, Mathew, are you saying that the off-point dorms, such as Commons 1500s ;) will be opening April 15?

I just saw a memo at housing today.. Commons dorms opens April 15th. I think it said Cedars opens May 12th and Gold Dorms are May 15th, but I could have those backwards

So does that mean everyone is rounded up in Bayside until Commons opens up? Sounds like I'll be camping outside of the dorms gate in chance of getting a coveted 1500s dorm :)!

Looks like I'll be living off point for a few days (I process in on the 12th and want to live in Gold). However, I don't have a car to move my stuff....Does transporation run back and fourth all day?

Yeah, we'll be getting there on the the 7th. Were just going to take what we need for a week and leave the rest at my grandparents house. I'm glad it's only for a week though, I don't think I could stand 3 other roommates for any longer than that.

The transportation does run throughout park hours for employees.

i think the off point dorms won't be opening up until the end of next week, i get there on sunday so i have to suffer in one of the apartments for a few days, i HATE the apartments but i'll deal with it, i called housing and the said the only way they'll open up the dorms earlier is if a massive amount of people processed in, so i think every1 needs to process in on sunday...lol......

Hello, I have heard that on point dorms will open on sunday, I was just wondering if anyone knows (or has an educated guess) as to what time(like 9am, 10am, noon etc) Gold will open? Cedars opens today and gold will open on sunday
