I didn't have a Heart Attack, but I needed to change my underwear when I saw Skyhawk in full swing:)
Btw, I think skyhawk will be totally diffrent from maXair... I was playing on the swings in the local park today imagining I was on Skyhawk(...) and I think the sensation of flying out of the seat and whooshing back towards the ground will be awsome, plus those restraints look so small... I think the floor looks gay though, I hope putting my legs up will make it seem to go away...

Wow, that first pic really showed the height of the swing. I can't wait to feel the rush of the positive gs going through the nadir of the swing and being rushed to the top with the air pressure.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
I now Im sounding obsessed here but I was just watching the Cleveland CP cam and noticed a crane near the area of Dragster. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v175/Dragster420/nph-cachecam.jpg
I watched for 10 minutes as it moved something (twice) from the right to the left. I believe they're moving the trains on to the transfer. With 3 weeks to go, would they start testing this week (if they get the trains on today)? I'd really like to think they'll be testing come wednesday.:)

That looks like its more around ID's lagoon that TTD's transfers. I was thinking they were working on torquing ID's bolts. Maybe I'm wrong, but thats what I was thinking when I saw that.

That's what I thought too but it then started turning (almost full 180° turns). It would turn, 4 minutes would pass and it would turn back around.....but with some relitively medium sized, rectangular object. And after about 5 minutes it turned back around. It's gone now though (5:50).

Jugga is right. They always have a crane in that area to do work on the pretzel of Iron Dragon this time of year. The object on the end of the cable you saw, was probably the basket with the workers in it. And Adam, from what I have been told, they still don't have all the TTD trains on yet. *** Edited 4/18/2006 9:39:36 PM UTC by 99er***
Aww mannn, that means no testing Wednesday!:'(
99er, just out of curiosity, how do you know all of Dragster's trains aren't on yet?
How many are on for that matter?

Its probably just a crane on-site that is used for many purposes, and is sized according to the largest job it needs to do.

I still say none of these "swing" rides beats the rush you get on Ripcord, laying parralell to the ground, with less safety harnesses than you get on Max-air or Skyhawk. Ripcord is for the "true-diehard" rush fans.
And when it becomes included in admission, I'll ride. Until then, I'll stick to those that don't charge me extra.

Those Rip Cord prices are supposed to be going down some this year. To what extent I don't know.

I doubt he'll reveal his sources.
Actually, he already told me. But I wont say.

Nice to see Power Tower all lit up on Funcoast cam. Seeing more and more of the park waking up after its winter nap.

They seem to be "right" at the start of every year, then end up being stuck on plain white (with one other random color coming from somewhere) the rest of the season.
*Edit- After checking out the video version of the Cleveland.com cam, it appears the lights are just the plain white right now. Although only the lower half of the tower appears to be lit...
**Edit Edit- The airplane lights on TTD currently have a very odd blink pattern to them. Or lack of a pattern might be the better description.
