I don't know who to agree with but I think this. I think they meassure out the track before it is put into place so the drop is 300ft. What should be asked is if the height still 310

Actually Servo, the Mars explorer analogy isn't really that far fetched to compare to building Millenium Force. The Mars mission didn't fail because of something risky or unpredictable about space, like an asteroid or something, but it failed because some highly paid engineer forgot to convert their metric measurements to inches. That could happen when building a Mars rover, roller coaster, car, or just about anything else. Anyway, I think I made my point. Also, I agree with RPM's post 100%. No one's trying to discredit or jynx MF, it's just some laid back hypothetical conversation that I found sorta interesting.
oh...THAT Mars lander....geeze there's been so many in my 32 years...and yes, this HAS been an interesting topic, but i think it's getting a little old...why don't we move along to another debate???
