Official Announcement?

July 10 is my birthday too. Oooo that would be nice to have a CCI for my birthday. And besides, what makes July 10 so special? I fail to see why they would announce something this early that won't change the world of coasters like M.Force did.

I'M 100 percent sure the announcement will be sometime between July 1, 2001 and March 30, 2002. You can bet the bank on that! ;)

I heard they're building a monument to chris fike in 2002. All hail Chris Fike!!!

Wow, July 10th is also my birthday!! Well now they have to make the announcement on that day since at least 3 GTTP'rs have a birthday then! Ok, maybe not. I dont think we will know until late August.

My "guess" is that it is going to be a coaster but nothing on the scale of MF (but how many are really?)

I'm so sick of the whole what's cp going to get next year posts. You know what their going to get? A few new employees and some first time guests as well as some returning employees and guests. And I can almost guarantee that there will be french fries and all sorts of other food too. Just wait people when they're ready to announce it they will.

Alison, you haven't been here very long so I'm sure it might be annoying to you, but some people asked, "What do you think CP will get in 2002?" the week after Millennium Force was announced.

So Many people have been waiting 3 years for the ride announcment. Since it's a couple months away, everyone is getting excited and is trying to guess what will be put in. I don't know about you, but I think it's fun guessing what they put in next.

Actually.. Alison is my cousin and she's been here just about as long as I have (back when I used to be a screenname that was deemed politically incorrect).. she just doesn't post..

She's well known aroudn the park and can walk into the Garter and get a drink withotu saying a word.. hehehe

I don't think there is going to be anything special at the press event. There will be the premiere showing of the documentary at 6:30, then interviews and food 'till 9. It seems that it will be pretty informal.
