Off the wall question: How old were you on your first visit to CP?

My first visit was last year in 2003, i was a dang chicken!!! I was 15 and now im almost 17. This year i was definitely not a chicken because i was on that Top Thrill Dragster. I really dont remember TTD because my eyes were closed half the time and i was focused on the lap bar!

What have i ever done to you? Also no it wasn't i'm 15 right now

You hurt my eyes when I was trying to decipher what your post said. I know that my grammar skills are no different now then they were when I was 15. Please try to punctuate so it's easier on the eyes.

I think i was 3 at the time. and i loved Jr. Gemini. im 16 and still do!! (jk... maybe) my family sucks so i dont get to go as often as i like. but i have gone at least once in the 3 years thanks to some cool friends.

The world looks better at 420 feet in the air... first ride May 14th, 2005

only 997 laps left on MF..

So i resurrect dead post... is that a bad thing?

I was 15. I'm 22 now.

Yeah same here. The first time I went was in 1995 and I was 5 years old. That night, I watched Raptor roll back right before the mid-course breaks.

August 11 and 12 of 2003 was my first trip, I was 14, now I'm 16 and love it more and more every day. Yesterday was my 4th trip to the park.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

My parents and grandparents started taking me when I was very young, maybe 2 or 3. I don't remember much until I was about 12. Then we went every year with my family. My sister and I would ride with our little brother and sister.

So I started going in the 50's.

Gee you guys are young!

It must have been back in 1983, because I vagely remember that "Berenstain Bear Country" and Avalanche Run were not there until at least the third time I went to the park. That would have made me 4 years old the first time I went to the point. I remember spending a lot of time in "Kid Arthur's Court" and on the Jr. Gemini. Growing up just outside Toledo, my family went at least one time per summer until we moved to Kansas in 1990.

I had to make due with Worlds of Fun and Six Flags-St. Louis until the summer of 2003, when I finally was able to put together a roadtrip to the Point with several of my friends. That roadtrip has now become an annual event and will be part of my bachelor party this September. It is well worth the 13 hour drive!!!

My first time was the year that the Gemini opened, which I believe was 1978. I was 8 years old, and believe it or not, was able to walk around alone with my 9 year old friend. We rode the Gemini 12 times that year. Great memories at Cedar Point.

I was 11 or 12, in about 78 or 79, I remember Gemini was there, but the first year I was too scared to ride it.

!976, I was 11 years old, Corkscrew was the newest, biggest, badest thing there.

First trip June 23rd

[url][url]I was 8 in 1994, but the first time I rode a rollercoaster at CP was when I was a freshman in highschool on a class trip. I will always remeber Raptor being my first rollercoaster and it's always the first one I get on every time I go to the park, which is usually a few times a year.

I was 18 when I visited for the 1st time in August 1999. I was actually underwhelmed by the park thinking it wasnt as good as it was supposed to be but I still loved it and it kept growing on me. After that first visit I said "Im definately getting a season pass next year, and its not because of Millennium Force being built." I have since gone multiple times a year and just a reminder that Im from Chicago, not a local! :-)

From what my mother tells me, I was 1 year old when i first made my visit. I guess I couldn't walk but could communicate by pointing at things as my mother had to carry me on the helicopters. My dad, who was on a bigger ride, walked up and almost had a heartattack when he found out where I was.

I don't know if i can ever forgive my mother for not taking me my very first summer...lol.
