I was 5, way back in 1979.
I was 12. Blue Streak and Rotor blew me away!

I think it was 1989, so I would have been 7. It was the year Magnum openned but I really don't remember much else about the trip.
I would have had to have been about 7. It was the year Raptor opened, and it was a humungous deal. I think we sat in front of it just staring in awe for at least an hour and a half. lol.
I didn't ride it until about 5 years later. *** Edited 8/3/2004 3:54:21 PM UTC by Abz***

Magnum still rocks.
ummm...i think about 10. when MF first opened.
My first visit was when Soak City debuted in 1988.
I was in 4th grade so it was summer of 1990. That was when you could first be an Altar Server at my church, and all the Servers got a trip to Cedar Point on a Tuesday in the summer (this was every summer). I don't think I really went on anything until 1991 though, and even then it was only Iron Dragon and the recently converted Disaster Transport. I can't believe there would be hours long waits for disaster transport, but the themeing was so cool back then.
When I have my kids, they are going to start going when they are really young, even starting by taking them to Michigan Adventure and then at least once a year to Cedar Point, make it our summer vacation trip.
I first went to Cedar Point when I was 4 years old. That was in 1993.
I was 9, in 1997, when Power Tower was being built. I rode Mine Ride and Iron Dragon. It took me to 2002 to ride Gemini and the rest of the coasters.

I was 13, in June 2002 when Wicked Twister opened. The two days my dad and I were there, WT was closed! I rode all the coasters in the park, including 80+ rides on Gemini on only the first day, except for MF and WT(due to it being closed).
~Millennium beats them all!~
~Waiting to ride TTD!~
I was 13; I'm 14 now, I just went for my second teim 3 weeks ago.
1991, When I was one. I am 14 no. My family used to go every year.
I think I was there in 1991 when Mean Streak debuted, so I was 8.
My family first visited Cedar Point in June, 1988; was that the first year for Magnum? We stayed in the campground and watched the trains endlessly until my (then) 8-year-old son worked up his courage to ride. Not being a coaster lover at the time, I was just going to wait in line and walk through the train when he & my husband got on, but another person in line had come from Arizona just to ride, so I started thinking that maybe I was going to miss out on something...It was probably about a 40 minute wait (not bad, considering it was the first year!), so I had a lot of time to think about my soon-to-be former fear of coasters. I'm glad I rode it; I still ride it (and Dragster, and MF, and coasters all over the U.S.)! I was 38 then and am still a devoted Magnum afficianado. Just shows that you're never too old to try something new!
I think i was 6 or 7 when i first visited.
My first visit to CP 2001 I was 16 years old and we left home the day after the last day of school in June.
I think I was 6, maybe 7, so that would put it at 1976 or 1977.
My first visit to CP was in 1966 when I was 8 yrs. old.
Loyal Mean Streak fan 4ever
My first trip was also in 1966 when I was 12

1989 - only to ride the tallest coaster on the planet, Magnum :)
