Hi everyone,
We started out at 10 a.m. since we have a platinum pass and rode Raptor 3 times in a row without having to get off.. great start to the morning. Then we headed to Troika, Disaster Transport and it was totally pitch black inside DT (I didn't care for that). Then we headed to Ocean Motion and me and my boyfriend were the only ones on the boat, it was a great ride and the guy in the booth was talking to us the entire time, he seemed very friendly.
We headed to the car after that for a quick lunch and it was back to the middle of the park to ride Magnum, I rode the very front, and never again, I flew out of my seat during the bunny hills and luckily that lap bar was there, it hit my stomach a few times, now I'm very sore, I'm never riding the very front again. Since we were in a bit of pain from that ride I bought an on-ride photo.
I tried to get on Witches Wheel, but it was down for some reason and the guy wouldn't tell us why, so I left the line, I was really looking forward to riding it too, he chained off the enterance, so I know it was probably going to be down for a while.
Next we headed to Gemini and only the red train was running, I sat in the very back for the first time, and it's much more fun in the very back. Then we headed to Wave Swinger and then to Mean Streak (I really think MS hurt my back a bit because when I got home it was extreamly sore).
We left around 4 p.m. because my bf was feeling very tired and he drove us to and from home (100 miles each way). So we went to Friendly's in Sandusky for dinner, it's nothing to write home about but the ice cream is very good.
Overall we had a great time, light crowds and the highlight was riding Raptor 3 times in a row, that was awesome :)
WW was probably closed while its resident Witches were out performing at the Hollow. ;)
Also, Jeff has indicated that there is no longer any need to label TRs as "long". This is an artifact from an earlier age of the website.
Not that your TR was particularly all that long, anyway. :)

The crowds seemed VERY light on Sunday. We were there from open to close and everything but the big 3 coasters were 10 min waits if not walk ons. Actually the only thing that took more than 20 minutes was Maverick, and it was only about 30 or so. I think the small crowds had a lot to do with the cold temps. Once it got dark, it felt like we were the only people riding the coasters.
Also, I was pleasantly surprised with Saturday's crowds. Sure they were much worse than Sunday, but nothing like other Halloweekend Saturdays I've spent in the park. Between the two days, we were able to ride every coaster at least once and most of the big ones 3 or 4 times each.
There were more people than we expected given the temperature but still not bad. Guessing the beautiful blue sky and the bright shiny thing brought people out. There were about 15 minutes of just incredible light when the sun started to go down. Really made the Giant Wheel look great. And the red sunset as viewed from Skyhawk was fantastic.
Contrary to your Magnum ride, I had what I think are my two best Magnum rides ever. It did not have the usual throw you out of the seat on the bunny hills. Instead I experienced floater air. My son even noticed it. The only thing I could think of was that with it being cold first thing in the morning, and with very few people on it, it was running slower than normal which led to the treat on the hills.
Even though we weren't planning a trip, things worked out so we can visit on Sunday the 25th. Extra bonus was the $25 online tickets (love to save $$$$). Hoping for light crowds, I am prepared for any kind of weather----layers, layers, layers! Can't wait! Last time for the Demon Drop--even though I haven't been on it in years, I gotta ride it this time.
